  • Patent number: 12439225
Abstract: A method of coordinating beacon signal scanning of reader devices in a tracking system is provided. For instance, first information may be received from a first reader device of the tracking system, and second information may be received from a second reader device, of the tracking system. Based on the first information or the second information that one of the first reader device or the second reader device has moved may be determined. In response to the determination that one of the first reader device or the second reader device has moved, a first coordinated duty cycle for the first reader device and a second coordinated duty cycle for the second reader device may be determined. The first coordinated duty cycle may be provided to the first reader device, and the second coordinated duty cycle may be provided to the second reader device.

  • Publication number: 20250211952
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method for out of order event detection for tracked objects. For example, payload that includes one or more values for a tracked object and a timestamp may be received. That the payload is received out of order may be determined based on the timestamp. The one or more value of the payload may be compared to one or more conditions. Based on the comparison and the determination that the payload was received out of order, that an event associated with the one or more conditions has occurred may be determined. When the event is determined to have occurred, an alert may be generated which identifies the tracked object as well as time information identifying when the one or more conditions were met.

  • Patent number: 11391903
Abstract: It is disclosed a method for coupling an optical fiber to a fiber optic cable, the fiber optic cable comprising a sheath surrounding an optical core comprising a buffer tube, the optical fiber being loosely contained in the buffer tube. The method comprises: cutting the sheath for a predetermined length thereof and exposing a corresponding portion of the optical core extending outward beyond a butt of the cut sheath; cutting the buffer tube of the exposed optical core and exposing a portion of the optical fiber; using a blocking tube to at least partially surround a section of the exposed portion of the optical fiber; and injecting a sealant into the blocking tube to lock the optical fiber within the blocking tube and couple the optical fiber to the fiber optic cable.
