  • Publication number: 20240129172
Abstract: Aspects are provided for generation and transmission of MDMRS which allow matching of nonlinear model impact or properties between DMRS and data in DFT-s-OFDM waveforms as well as CP-OFDM waveforms. A UE transmits, to a network entity, an MDMRS generated from a DMRS. The MDMRS has a PAPR distribution matching a PAPR distribution of a signal including data in an uplink channel. A target PAPR of the MDMRS is based on a modulation scheme of the data. The UE also transmits the data in the uplink channel, where the uplink channel includes a PUCCH or a PUSCH. As a result of the ability of MDMRS to match the nonlinear impact of DMRS and PUSCH or PUCCH, the network entity may compensate for any EVM that may occur as a result of PAPR reduction by a nonlinear operator of the UE, and communication performance may thereby be improved.

  • Patent number: 11938194
Abstract: The invention provides modified heavy chain constant regions including a cysteine at position 295 by EU numbering and optionally at position 239 by EU numbering. These cysteine residues provide sites for conjugation to a drug or label. When both cysteines are present in a normal heterodimeric antibody format, there are four such sites per molecule of antibody allowing a stoichiometry of one molecule of antibody to four of drug or label. Selection of the cysteine at position 295 with or without cysteine at position 239 is advantageous over cysteines at many other positions due to ease of expression, stability and cytotoxicity.

  • Publication number: 20240080233
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may generate an input signal including information for transmission over a wireless channel. The UE may perform a first waveform shaping stage on the input signal to increase an in-band emissions ratio and reduce a peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the input signal. The UE may perform a second waveform shaping stage on the output of the first waveform shaping stage to reduce an adjacent channel leakage ratio of the output of the first waveform shaping stage. The UE may then transmit a signal over the wireless channel based on an output of the second waveform shaping stage.

  • Patent number: 11910326
Abstract: During an uplink TDD slot, an UL UE transmits an UL signal that occupies a slot frequency range. Similarly, during a DL TDD slot, a DL UE receives a DL signal that occupies the slot frequency range. But during an SBFD slot, a UL UE transmits a UL signal that occupies only a first sub-band of the slot frequency range. Similarly, a DL UE receives a DL signal during an SBFD slot that occupies only a second sub-band of the slot frequency range. The second sub-band is distinct from the first sub-band. The DL UE may thus mitigate UE-to-UE interference during an SBFD slot by filtering the DL signal to substantially block the second sub-band from being received at the DL UE.

  • Patent number: 11889436
Abstract: The transmission and reception group delay in a front end structure of a mobile device may be determined using closed loop calibration. The closed loop may be a near field radiated closed loop between pairs of antennas in an antenna array of the mobile device. The delay based on time of transmission and time of reception may be measured for a plurality of pairs of antennas, from which the transmit and receive group delay within a single path may be determined. The propagation delay of the signal between antennas may be included in the group delay calibration for increased accuracy. In another implementation, a conducted closed loop, e.g., in the transceiver or in a radio frequency switching network may be used to calibrate the group delay. Pre-characterization of the delay caused by components between the closed loop and antennas may be included in the group delay calibration for increased accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20240022367
Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow a network entity to consider an identity property for received RS during analog combining or aggregation in order to achieve efficient channel sounding and estimation. The network entity may receive an RS in a time period via a plurality of antenna elements. The network entity may combine, in an analog domain, the RS received via each of the antenna elements based at least in part on weights associated with the antenna elements. At least one weight of the weights changes over the time period, and the weights are elements of a time domain orthogonal cover code or a DFT matrix. As a result of these weights, the network entity may estimate multiple combined or individual channels of antenna elements or groups from one or more RS in one or more symbols, potentially improving UE energy efficiency, efficient resource allocation, and coherency between the antenna elements.

  • Patent number: 11877307
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms signaling non-linearities to a victim user equipment (UE) for interference cancellation in a wireless communication system. A victim UE may experience interference from an uplink transmission by an aggressor UE to a base station. The victim UE may obtain a power amplifier model associated with the aggressor UE. The power amplifier may include a non-linearity model of a power amplifier of the aggressor UE causing the interference on the victim UE. The power amplifier model obtained by the victim UE may be dependent on various parameters, such as a transmit power used by the aggressor UE to transmit the uplink transmission causing the interference. Based on the aggressor UE transmit power, the victim UE may select parameters for power amplifier model and may estimate the interference caused by the uplink transmission for interference cancellation.

  • Patent number: 11788964
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for testing solder joints of a PCB assembly using fluorescent-dye penetrants. The use of a suitable fluorescent-dye penetrant may significantly improve the sensitivity of a Dye and Pry test to dye indications compared to a typical sensitivity achievable thereby with a conventional dye penetrant. Some embodiments may use an automated fluorescence imaging system employing a translation stage to sequentially move individual solder-joint parts of a circuit under test into the field of view of a fluorescence microscope and a high-resolution digital camera to capture fluorescence images of the individual solder-joint parts. The movement of the translation stage and processing of the fluorescence images may be referenced to an electronic CAD file of the circuit to enable high-precision automated scanning of the solder-joint parts in the fluorescence imaging system, automated quantification of the extent of cracks in individual solder joints, and automatic generation of examination reports.
