  • Publication number: 20060025328
Abstract: A liquid composition for the controlled release of gonodotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) or its analogs or agonists is provided that includes: (i) a non-polymeric, non-water soluble liquid carrier material (HVLCM) of viscosity of at least 5,000 cP at 37° C. that does not crystallize neat under ambient or physiological conditions; and (ii) GnRH or analogs agonists thereof. The composition can be used to treat reproductive conditions and/or induce ovulation in animals, such as livestock, fish, and shellfish.

  • Publication number: 20060005697
Abstract: A fluid power unit has a cylinder in a housing, a piston slidable in the cylinder and dividing the cylinder into a retract side and an extend side, and a two-position control valve. The control valve has a spool and first and second pilots. The position of the spool is responsive to the first and second pilots. There is a retract poppet valve in the retract side of the cylinder, and an extend poppet valve in the extend side. The retract and extend poppet valves are biased to a closed position. The retract poppet valve is in a fluid path between the retract side and the control valve; the extend poppet valve is in a fluid path between the extend side and the control valve. The alternate movement of the piston in the cylinder alternately opens and closes the poppet valves, The circuit connects the poppet valves to the pilots and alternately applies and releases pressure to the pilots, causing the spool of the control valve to shift and apply inlet pressure to the piston on alternate sides.

  • Patent number: 6904757
Abstract: A mounting assembly for a forward end of a liner in a combustor of a gas turbine engine including a dome and a cowl, wherein a longitudinal centerline axis extends through the gas turbine engine. The mounting assembly includes a pin member extending through each one of a plurality of circumferentially spaced openings formed in the forward end of the liner, an aft portion of the cowl, and a portion of the dome, with each pin member including a head portion at one end thereof. A nut is adjustably connected to an end of each pin member opposite the head portion. A bushing is located on each pin member at a position intermediate the head portion and the nut, wherein the openings in the liner forward end are sized to fit around the bushings.

  • Patent number: 6895761
Abstract: A mounting assembly for an aft end of a liner of a gas turbine engine combustor including a support member, wherein a longitudinal centerline axis extends through the gas turbine engine. The mounting assembly includes a pin member extending through each one of a plurality of circumferentially spaced openings in a portion of the support member for the combustor and into a plurality of partial openings formed in the aft end of the liner, with each pin member including a head portion at one end thereof, and a device positioned within each opening in the support member so as to retain the pin members therein. The pin members and the support member are able to slide radially and/or axially with respect to the liner aft end as the support member experiences thermal growth greater than the liner.

  • Patent number: 6306036
Abstract: A computer program displays a virtual environment and a character in the virtual environment. The character includes a body and a replaceable head. Player control signals from an input device control replacement of the character's replaceable head and other character actions in the virtual environment. The computer program may attribute play characteristics to the character based on the head in place on the character at a given time. These characteristics may be thematically consistent with the displayed appearance of the head in place. The program may allow a player to select a set of character heads for use with the character. The program may allow the player to collect heads from the virtual environment and store the collected heads for use. The program may offer communication with other connected computer systems facilitating a multi-player or on-line interact hosted game.
