Abstract: An endoprosthesis delivery system includes an expandable endoprosthesis including a side branch portal, a first primary sleeve releasably constraining a proximal portion of the expandable endoprosthesis to a collapsed configuration, a second primary sleeve in parallel with the first primary sleeve, the second primary sleeve releasably constraining a distal portion of the expandable endoprosthesis to the collapsed configuration, and a secondary sleeve within the first primary sleeve. Upon release of the first primary sleeve, the secondary sleeve releasably constrains the proximal portion of the expandable endoprosthesis to a partially expanded configuration allowing access to the side branch portal via the partially expanded proximal portion of the expandable endoprosthesis.

Abstract: Embodiments of an adapter, a system including the adapter, and methods of using the adapter may be for mixing a first substance and a second substance. The adapter may include a body having a first port configured to connect with a first container to receive a first substance, a second port configured to connect with a second container to receive a second substance, a third port configured to connect with a recipient container to output a mixture of the first substance and the second substance, and a mixing chamber having a first portion in communication with the first port and the second port and a second portion in communication with the third port. The adapter may further include a mixing pin inserted into the mixing chamber. In some embodiments, the mixing pin at least partially defines at least one microfluidic path for mixing the first substance and the second substance. In some embodiments, at least one of the first channel and the second channel are oriented offset of a central plane of the body.

Abstract: Raw sensor data from a device of a user is collected. The raw data does not include location data for the device. The data is preprocessed to identify driving trips in which the user had the device. The trip data is provided to machine-learning models (MLMs) as input and the MLMs provide as output predictions for each trip's estimated speeds, estimated number of hard brakes and a degree of each hard brake, and estimated degrees of distracted driving. A duration, time of day, and calendar date of each trip is identified. The predictions, duration, time of day, and calendar date are modified into four factor values. The four modified factor values are combined into an overall driver characteristic value and provided to a network service associated with the user for purposes of providing or modifying services provided to the user through the network service based on the overall characteristic value.

Abstract: Provided herein are engineered Coronavirus S proteins, such as engineered SARS-CoV-2 S proteins. In some aspects, the engineered S proteins exhibit enhanced conformational stability and/or antigenicity. Methods are also provided for use of engineered proteins as diagnostics, in screening platforms and/or in vaccine compositions.

The method includes: providing a database of learned content of multiple data sources learned using text analysis, the learned content identifying one or more concepts to which a data source relates, wherein the concepts are cognitively associated with the data source and include concepts not explicitly referenced in the data source and providing an index of the learned content including associations between concepts with mappings between concepts and the multiple data sources. The method further includes receiving input of a query and using text analysis to analyze the query to determine one or more query concepts to which it relates and mining the indexed concepts in response to the query concepts to return a list of referenced data sources.

Abstract: A method for improved electronic device performance provides for sampling a power consumption parameter for a device throughout a time interval in which an increased load transient is observed and for dynamically calculating one or more exponential weighted moving averages (EWMAs) based on the power consumption parameter responsive to each sampling. The method further provides for increasing a maximum discharge rate of the battery to a discharge rate limit associated with a select maximum level of multiple predefined discharge rate levels and then incrementally decreasing the maximum discharge rate of the battery from the discharge rate limit of the select maximum level to one or more lower discharge rate limits associated with progressively lower levels of the multiple predefined discharge rate levels.

The method includes: analyzing content of a data source while simultaneously identifying one or more alternative data sources having similar concepts of the content of the data source, the similar contents based on a degree of similarity between the concepts of the data source and one or more concepts of the one or more alternative data sources. The method further includes providing an indication based on a degree of similarity for performing a defined operation on the one or more alternative data sources in relation to the data source.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for automated testing of systems and applications. A computing device can receive a command to execute a test, the test comprising at least one fault instruction and an alarm, the alarm being specified as an evaluation criterion for the test. The computing device can then send the fault instruction to a fault injection service. Next, the computing device can receive a message from a monitoring service, the message indicating that the alarm has been triggered subsequent to sending the fault instruction to the fault injection service. Subsequently, the computing device can determine that the test has failed based at least in part on the alarm being triggered. Finally, the computing device can send a failure notification to a predefined recipient in response to detecting that the alarm has been triggered.
