Abstract: Physical exercising apparatus comprising a ground-supported user platform adapted to permit step-up exercise and at least one elastic member one end of which is attached to the apparatus and the free end of which carries a user handle to enable a user to exercise by stretching the elastic member while supported at least in part on the platform.

Abstract: A free-standing physical exercising device which can also be configured for use as a posture stool of the kind having a knee support on which the user can kneel while seated on the stool, comprising a ground supported frame on which are disposed a seat and knee support which together comprise the posture stool, the arrangement being such that the knee support can be used as a second user seat during exercise and the seat can be moved into a position for use as a back-rest, for use during such seated exercise, a user handle attached to the frame for generally vertical movement, and resistance device on the frame and operatively connected to the handle to resist movement thereof whereby the user can grasp and move the handle to exercise. Preferably, the exercising device comprises a foot rest on the frame substantially at ground level so that the user can stand on the foot rest and thereby stabilize the device with his body weight while grasping and moving the handle to exercise.

Abstract: A physical exercising device including a body, and an exercise bench mounted on the body, the bench mounting including an attachment on the bench adjacent to one end thereof and adapted to be attached to the body at any one of at least two different heights, the attachment also being adapted to permit inclination of the bench relative to the horizontal, and a leg arranged to support the bench at a position spaced from the one end and the lower end of the leg is adapted to be secured to the body, the arrangement being such that the position of attachment of the leg on the body can be adjusted to vary the height of the end of the bench opposite to the said one end, whereby both ends of the bench can be raised and lowered independently so that the bench can be inclined in opposite directions and whereby the bench can assume different horizontal heights.

Abstract: A convertible physical exercising device adapted for performing a range of different exercises has a user-engageable movable member connected to a resistance through an elongated flexible element. The flexible element is trained through a final guide which is carried by a pivoted support whose angular position relative to the body of the device can be varied and fixed so as to vary the rest position of the movable member.
