Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for promoting arteriogenesis, and preparation method and applications of the same, wherein said pharmaceutical composition comprises an effective amount of a drug, and a peptide hydrogel, and it forms a microenvironment for autologous cell recruitment and tissue regeneration.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for screening the size of carrier for a subject in need, comprising: (a) providing a series of labeled carriers which have different sizes; (b) administering one of the series of carriers to a subject who suffers from an organ dysfunction; (c) monitoring biodistribution of the carrier of step (b) in said subject; (d) repeating steps (b) and (c) until all the series of carriers are administered and all the biodistribution of the series of carriers are monitored; and (e) determining the size of carrier for said subject in accordance with the retention time of the series of carriers in the dysfunctional organ of said subject. The method can be used as a screening platform for drug carrier, in which the optimal size of carrier can be screened for the dysfunctional organ of the subject.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a new type of functionalized nanoparticles for drug delivery, comprising a type of polymer nanoparticles, a polymer stabilizer coating, and a drug, wherein said polymer stabilizer coating is coated on the surface of said type of polymer nanoparticles, and said drug is conjugated to said polymer stabilizer coating. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing the nanoparticles; and provides a method for treating an ischemic or degenerative disease, comprising administrating an effective amount of the type of functionalized nanoparticles to a subject.
