  • Publication number: 20240064947
Abstract: Provided is a polymer composite reinforced with graphene nanoplatelets and glass fibers, which may be prepared by injection molding. Molecular interactions between the graphene nanoplatelets and the glass fibers result in improved mechanical performance in the polymer composite. Synergistic effects are observed when the concentration of the glass fibers is over 10% and the concentration of the graphene nanoplatelets is between about 0.25% and about 5%. Particular examples of the polymer composite provide electromagnetic inference shielding.
