  • Publication number: 20260002385
Abstract: An elongate flexible security apparatus has connecting parts each defined by pieces which, when connected in an operative relationship, cooperatively produce spaced surrounded openings at which a pivot connection can be established with adjacent connecting parts of similar, or the same, configuration. The invention is also directed to a method of securing a portable article using the elongate flexible security apparatus.

  • Patent number: 12488665
Abstract: The combination of: a portable article; and a tethering system having an elongate flexible component, a main body having a first slot, and a housing. A part of the elongate component is fixed to the main body. A length of the elongate component extending away from the fixed part can be formed into a “U” shape with spaced legs, with one of the legs directed into the first slot over a first length of the main body and to beyond the main body for connection to a support. With the housing and main body in an assembled relationship, the housing blocks the one of the spaced legs of the “U” in the first slot on the main body over the first length whereby friction forces generated between the elongate component and at least one of the main body and housing resist sliding of the elongate flexible component along the first slot as would change a size of the “U” shape.

  • Publication number: 20220028232
Abstract: A method of, and system for, handling a portable article. The method includes the step of delivering the portable article to a destination site at which the portable article is operatively associated with an alarm assembly. The alarm assembly has an armed state and an unarmed state. With the portable article operatively associated with the alarm assembly at the destination site and the alarm assembly in the armed state, the alarm assembly generates an alarm signal in the event an unauthorized activity with respect to the portable article occurs.
