Publication number: 20250035453Abstract: Systems and methods herein describe a navigation system for reducing complex maneuvers in navigation instructions. The navigation system receives a transportation request comprising an origin and a destination, determines a first shortest path from the origin to the destination location, and identifies a subset of maneuvers in the first shortest path that are associated with a penalty value. The navigation system further generates a modified path value by applying the penalty value to the identified subset of maneuvers, and in response to identifying that the modified total path value exceeds a threshold value, determines a second shortest path from the origin to the destination. The navigation system generates navigation instructions comprising a second plurality of maneuvers associated with the second shortest path, and transmits the navigation instructions to a computing device.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 26, 2023Publication date: January 30, 2025Inventors: Junzhuo Chen, Rade Stanojievic, Can Akcevin, Vineet Khosla, Patrick Tsung-Ping Muh, Danni Lu, Dehui Yang, Nadia Moosvi

Patent number: 12213209Abstract: Multicast/Broadcast Service (MBS) for user equipments (UE) in Radio Resource Control (RRC) idle/inactive modes via signally of MBS frequency ranges and/or switching between frequency ranges as required. Bandwidth Part (BWP) operation for MBS in RRC_IDLE and RRC_INACTIVE states may be implemented using a dedicated MBS BWP or by sharing a frequency range with other operations. An MBS frequency range may be wider or narrower than an initial BWP used by a UE, for example. MBS frequency range configure may be achieved in a number of ways, such as via Control Resource Set (CORESET), search space, and/or PDCCH monitoring occasions pattern settings for MBS in RRC idle/inactive. Downlink scheduling without dynamic grant for MBS in RRC idle/inactive may include configured scheduling and/or semi-persistent scheduling. Publication number: 20210372154Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling chlorinators for pools and spas are provided. A controller communicates with a processor positioned within a replaceable cell cartridge of a chlorinator, to allow for remote control and diagnosis of the chlorinator and/or cell cartridge. The cell cartridge stores, in non-volatile memory on board the cartridge, one or more parameters associated with the cartridge. The controller can obtain this information from the processor of the cell cartridge, and can use same to configure operation of the chlorinator. Information relating to remaining cell life can be updated by the controller and stored in the non-volatile memory of the cell cartridge. Electrical and software-based mechanisms are provided for ensuring operation of only compatible cell cartridges with the chlorinator. A system for remotely diagnosing errors associated with the chlorinator is also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 17, 2021Publication date: December 2, 2021Applicant: Hayward Industries, Inc.Inventors: Patrick Chen, Douglas Sawyer, JR., Michael Nilsson, Raymond Denkewicz
