  • Publication number: 20240104792
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to aspects of the extended reality environments that are selected or otherwise modified to account for distracting stimuli. Similarly, one or more metrics that reflect, or are otherwise indicative of, a user's ability to focus on a current or upcoming activity may be used to adjust a user's interaction with the extended reality environment. The extended reality environment can generated by an extended reality system that includes a head-mounted display, a set of sensors and a processor configured to enter a focus mode that reduces distraction in an extended reality environment. While in the focus mode, the process or can receive imaging data of a physical environment around a user using the set of sensors and generate the extended reality environment that includes a reproduction of the first region of the physical environment where an identified object is replaced with the additional content.

  • Publication number: 20210202076
Abstract: Methods and systems for studying clinical pathways. Methods and systems described herein implement a two-stage clustering approach for learning clinical pathways. A first clustering procedure is executed on patient data to sort the data into clusters based on clinical path structure. • Publication number: 20210056413
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a deep learning model employing lower layer neural networks of different architectures to independently learn the embedded feature representation of each data type of a partitioned multimodal electronic data including an encoded data (11), an embedded data (12) and a sampled data (13). In an optimal embodiment, at a lower neural network layer, encoded data (11) is inputted into an encoded neural network (30) to produce an encoded feature vector (14), embedded data (12) is inputted into an embedded neural network (40) to output an embedded feature vector (15), and sampled data (13) is inputted into a sampled neural network (60) (50) to output an sample feature vector (16) (16). At an upper neural network layer, the encoded feature vector (14), the embedded feature vector (15) and the sample feature vector (16) are inputted into a convolutional neural network (60) to produce a prediction (217) (17).

  • Publication number: 20200005216
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for providing user notifications based on a project context. The system may receive candidate attributes from candidate devices of a plurality of candidates and storing them in a candidate database, as well as user-entered attributes from a user device of a user. The system may then iteratively execute a number of operations that include performing a search for candidates in the candidate database by comparing project attributes with candidate attributes and providing user notification of newly-matched candidates that includes returning returned candidates that are matching candidates of the search results to the user based on the search.

  • Publication number: 20200005218
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for utilizing search facets based on project context. In the system, a process is used for receiving candidate attributes from candidate devices of a plurality of candidates. The processor operates for receiving, via the network interface, user-entered attributes from a user device of a user that are a first part of project attributes of a project and storing the project attributes. The candidates are searched by comparing project attributes with candidate attributes and producing a resultant matching candidate set comprising matching candidates, wherein each matching candidate is assigned an overall matching score.

  • Patent number: 10482137
Abstract: A system and method includes receiving a search query and obtaining, from a database, member data of a member. For each of a plurality of nonlinear models, the nonlinear model is traversed based on a comparison of characteristics to conditions to obtain a score, wherein, among the nonlinear models, at least one characteristic is an inferred characteristic based on at least one of: activities by the member in an online networking system; and connections by the member in the online networking system. The score obtained from each of the nonlinear models is combined to obtain a combined score and a user interface to displays information related to the member based, at least in part on the combined score.

  • Publication number: 20190287070
Abstract: Systems and methods for query expansion are disclosed. In some examples, a server receives, from a client device, a search query for employment candidates, the search query comprising a first set of parameters. The server determines a second set of parameters related to the first set of parameters in response to identifying a second parameter for the second set of parameters that corresponds with a first parameter from the first set of parameters, the professional records being stored in a professional data repository. The server generates, from the professional data repository, a first set of search results based on the first set of parameters and the second set of parameters. The server provides, to the client device, an output representing the first set of search results.

  • Publication number: 20190052720
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, and machine readable mediums which provide for retrieval, ranking, and display of candidates that are more likely to respond to employment inquiries in an employment search graphical user interface (GUI). The system may employ a machine learning algorithm which may calculate a score for each member of the social networking service that predicts, based upon one or more features how likely the individual is to respond to a message. In some examples, the candidates that are determined to be more likely to respond may be presented as a selectable option in the GUI.

  • Publication number: 20070224724
Abstract: An organic polymer memory cell is provided having an organic polymer layer and an electrode layer formed over a first conductive (e.g., copper) layer (e.g., bitline). The memory cells are connected to a second conductive layer (e.g., forming a wordline), and more particularly the top of the electrode layer of the memory cells to the second conductive layer. Optionally, a conductivity facilitating layer is formed over the conductive layer. Dielectric material separates the memory cells. The memory cells are self-aligned with the bitlines formed in the first conductive layer and the wordlines formed in the second conductive layer.

  • Publication number: 20070150094
Abstract: A system and method for guiding robotic actions based on external factor tracking and analysis is presented. External factors affecting a defined physical space are tracked through a stationary environmental sensor. The external factors are analyzed to determine one or more of activity levels and usage patterns occurring within the defined physical space. At least one of movements and actions to be performed by a mobile effector that operates untethered from the stationary environmental sensor within the defined physical space are determined. The movements and actions are autonomously executed in the defined physical space through the mobile effector.

  • Publication number: 20070139775
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a process for producing a low-visibility retroreflective visual tag, which can be used to identify and/or determine the position of an object. This process involves placing an infra-red-blocking material over a retroreflective substrate to form the low-visibility retroreflective visual tag. This infra-red-blocking material is placed so as to form a pattern, which becomes visible to an infrared sensor when the low-visibility retroreflective visual tag is illuminated by an infra-red light source.

  • Publication number: 20060126107
Abstract: A computerized method is presented for the management of job distribution among a population of networked production machines through balancing of the usage load over the population of networked machines based upon wear data. The method includes initializing a production server, which communicates with the networked production machines. The wear rate for each monitored component within each machine is synchronized, as is the residual life for each monitored component. The residual life value for each networked production machine is communicated to the production server. A determination is made as to whether a job request has arrived, and production machine(s) are selected to perform the job, with selection based on the state of wear of each networked production machine and the wear policy being applied to the network. The residual life values for the selected production machine(s) are updated based on the requirements of the job.
