    Abstract: A transmitting-end fiber alignment device, includes at least one additional laser source that is provided in addition to a light source array including a plurality of light sources, and at least one quadrant detector that corresponds to the at least one additional laser source. The at least one additional laser source is positioned according to a given geometric relationship with respect to a first geometric shape that covers all of the plurality of light sources at a top surface of the light source array. A respective quadrant detector that is each of the at least one quadrant detector, is configured for sensing at least a portion of a reflected light beam that is originally transmitted by a respective additional laser source that corresponds to the respective quadrant detector, such that a misalignment of the light source array is detected.
