  • Publication number: 20240101274
Abstract: An electric pushback vehicle includes a frame having a forward portion and a rear portion. The vehicle further includes front drive axle and a rear drive axle configured to communicate power to ground engaging members. A traction battery is housed within the electric pushback vehicle and provides electric power to an electric motor to drive an output shaft. A transmission is connected to receive mechanical power from the electric motor through a torque converter.

  • Patent number: 11845904
Abstract: In one embodiment, a portable thermite fire starter kit is provided. For instance, one or more small pieces or solid blocks of thermite may be contained within a portable kit container along with one or more ignition items. The ignition items may comprise thermite matches. In one embodiment, the ignition items are kept separate from the pieces of thermite. In one embodiment, one or both of the thermite pieces and/or thermite matches are constructed as multiple layers of progressively ignitable materials and/or compounds. In particular, the layers may start at a first layer and that can reach a first burn temperature that is at least a subsequent adjacent layer ignition temperature, where each subsequent intermediate layer leading to the thermite progressively increases in ignition temperature to not more than a previously adjacent layer burn temperature and also increases in burn temperature to at least a subsequent adjacent layer ignition temperature.

  • Publication number: 20230016569
Abstract: Methods are provided to predict, based on chest radiographs, whether a patient suffers from any comorbidities in one or more high-level comorbidity classes, e.g., high-level hierarchical condition categories. The chest radiograph is a low-cost, minimally-invasive source of visual information that is able to accurately predict whether a subject suffers from diabetes with chronic complications, morbid obesity, congestive heart failure, specified heart arrhythmias, vascular disease, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, among other high-level comorbidity classes. The predictive methods provided herein are also able to accurately predict overall measures of health-related complications, including the risk adjustment factor. These predictive methods can be used to focus review of medical records, improving the detection of disease. Outputs generated by these methods can also be used to predict the severity of disease and/or the extent of care provided to subjects with COVID-19 or related diseases.

  • Patent number: 10850754
Abstract: This application describes methods and apparatus for monitoring of rail networks using fibre optic distributed acoustic sensing (DAS), especially for condition monitoring. One method involves taking (902) a first data set corresponding to measurement signals from a plurality of channels of at least one fibre optic distributed acoustic sensor (100) having a sensing fibre (101) deployed to monitor at least part of the path of the rail network (201). The first data set corresponds to measurement signals acquired as a train (202) passed along a first monitored section of the rail network. The method involves identifying (903) a speed of the train through the first monitored section and dividing (904) the first data set into a plurality of time windows. Each time window contains a different subset of the first data set, with the measurement signal for each successive channel in a time window being delayed with respect to the previous channel by a time related to the identified train speed.

  • Publication number: 20180203144
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for interferometric seismic imaging and creation of a high-resolution three-dimensional seismic volume in proximity to a wellbore are described. In contrast to current methods that deliver positions of microseismic events using a small fraction of the microseismic wavefield, the present invention provides for the analysis of a full microseismic wavefield. In a preferred embodiment, the method includes creating a planar image slice and/or corridor between the location of one or more microseismic events and one or several sensor arrays to produce a multitude of azimuthally orientated planar image slices and/or corridors. The method further includes adding the planar image slice and/or corridor contributions to create a single three-dimensional volume for analysis and rendering.

  • Patent number: 9656882
Abstract: A water treatment composition includes a water soluble film formed into a sealed pouch. The pouch contains a composite of a phosphate removing substance, a polymer flocculant, or an enzyme, or any combination. The phosphate removing substance, the polymer flocculant, and the enzyme are bound to each other within the composite. The pouch is added to a body of water. The pouch dissolves to release the compounds and treat the water.
