Abstract: The instant disclosure is generally directed to low viscosity, low volatility lubricating compositions. The lubricating composition of the instant disclosure includes an oil of lubricating viscosity that contains a lubricating base oil and a hydrocarbon oil. The hydrocarbon oil makes up least 20 wt % of the oil of lubricating viscosity and has a kinematic viscosity of less than 3.7 c St at 100° C. and a NOACK volatility (measured by ASTM D5800) of less than 25 wt %. The lubricant composition further includes a polyalkenyl succinimide dispersant, and, optionally, other formulation additives. The lubricating compositions have been shown to increase fuel economy in internal combustion engines.

  • Publication number: 20240037657
Abstract: A system of cryptocurrency mining comprising at least one cryptocurrency mining machine, a rewards pool for receiving cryptocurrency from the mining machine, and a non-fungible token configured to direct a fractionalized portion of the cryptocurrency in the rewards pool to an owner of the non-fungible token. The invention relates to fractionalizing rewards to non-fungible token holders, such as Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency mining. More broadly, the non-fungible token, methods, and systems disclosed herein can easily be employed by rewards pools and rewards pool managers of all kinds, as would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art. By fractionalizing hard to apportion devices and systems, the inventions described herein can fine tune the cost of entry to profitable endeavors, proving new opportunities by democratizing ownership.

  • Patent number: 8855765
Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to methods, devices and systems for detection of a lead-related condition in a medical electrical lead. In accordance with the disclosure, a physiological waveform interpreter module embedded within the lead functions to sense the occurrence of a cardiac event and to generate a minimal impact signal. In an example implementation, the physiological waveform interpreter module is disposed proximate to the sensing site or vicinity of cardiac signals. The physiological waveform interpreter module transmits the minimal impact signal that may include one or more predetermined properties to a remotely located lead monitoring module upon sensing a cardiac event. The lead monitoring module receives and processes the minimal impact signal to determine whether a cardiac depolarization has occurred and simultaneously verify the integrity of the transmission medium.

  • Patent number: 8798751
Abstract: The disclosure describes methods and devices for providing early indicators of a lead-related condition in a medical electrical lead. Among other things, the methods and devices will detect, obtain, or provide indicators of static or intermittent disruptions in a conductive pathway of the lead based on changes in conductive continuity properties of a medical electrical lead. The conductive behaviors and properties will be managed to facilitate signal stability and fidelity. In some embodiments, the methods and devices may include functions to enable one or more of monitoring a lead's conductive pathway, detecting static and transient behaviors of the conductive pathway, stabilizing the monitored pathway, reconfiguring the pathway, and providing lead-related condition data to an associated implantable medical device. The early indicators may be generated in a real-time, continuous manner to provide early detection and notification of lead degradation.

  • Patent number: 8751000
Abstract: Techniques are described for detecting lead-related conditions for implantable electrical leads. In some of the described embodiments, an implantable electrical lead assembly is provided with a coupling member for connecting a conductor and associated insulator(s) to an electrode/sensing element. The implantable medical device controls and performs a measurement of an electrical property of the electrical lead during periods when the conductor is decoupled from the electrode/sensing element. An indication of a lead-related condition is derived based on the measured electrical property. The lead-related condition may be associated with an insulator of a lead body of the electrical lead.

  • Patent number: 8408404
Abstract: A shelving system may comprise a pair of support brackets and a shelf platform supportable by the brackets. The platform includes a supporting portion, a rear flange on the supporting portion, and a front flange on the supporting portion. The shelf platform may be configured to be supported by the support brackets when a portion of the brackets extend upwardly from the platform and when a portion of the brackets extend downwardly from the platform. Optionally, a work platform is pivotable between usage and storage positions, and the brackets are pivotable between a deployed position supporting the platform in the usage position and a storage position allowing the platform to move to the storage position. Optionally, a mounting rail and at least one hook removably mountable on the rail may be provided. The hook may have a stabilizer tab that stabilizes the hook with respect to the rail.

  • Patent number: 4141740
Abstract: A solid solution and a process for producing a solid solution, the solid solution including at least the compounds: silicon carbide and aluminum oxycarbide, and also aluminum nitride. The new material including all three compounds is referred to by the acronym, SiCAlON, which is a coined term consisting of the chemical abbreviations for the elements present in the solid solution. The solid solution is obtained by heating an intimate mixture of reactants above about 1550.degree. C. The silicon carbide in the solid solution has the alpha or hexagonal structure and the aluminum nitride has the wurtzite or hexagonal structure. The solid solution is characterized by the substantial absence of iron or other impurities that tend to encourage the formation of silicon carbide as a separate phase having a beta or cubic structure.
