  • Patent number: 7426871
Abstract: The apparatus for testing of a fuselage structure having longitudinal and circumferential curvature includes an assembly for applying forces to the fuselage structure. It includes a central shaft that extends in the longitudinal direction at the center of the fuselage structure and that is capable of being interlocked with the fuselage structure. The assembly for applying the forces is mounted between the fuselage structure and a support interlocked with the central shaft. The apparatus can be used to perform tests on an airplane fuselage.

  • Patent number: 6431490
Abstract: A process and apparatus for depositing simultaneously by winding on a support, several rovings of pre-impregnated fibers. The rovings are deposited simultaneously by winding on a rotating support. At least two rovings are brought into superposition near where they will be applied to the support, and the various rovings are subjected to different tensions depending on their position relative to the support. Specifically, the roving nearest the support is subjected to a greater tension than a roving farther from the support. Composite structures are thus produced.
