It more particularly relates to a protective cover that enhances the user experience of devices such as smartphones, tablets and the like. In one aspect the invention includes adhesive backing for attachment to a surface, a printable substrate and a clear magnifying dome covering the substrate, combined into a unit that when adhered to a surface provides a clear bright decorative protective covering. The protective covering is preferably made from tough self-healing materials, and the flat substrate is suitable as a base for either printed images, preferably customizable, and/or small decorative objects such as jewels, small insects or the like.
