  • Publication number: 20240065837
Abstract: A method of repairing a mitral valve of a heart of a subject comprises positioning an elongate support of an implant at the heart such that the support is aligned with a coronary sinus of the heart. A first anchor of the implant is anchored to a first location on an anterior side of the valve, such that a first tether-segment of the implant spans across the valve between the first anchor and a first end of the support. A second anchor of the implant is anchored to a second location on the anterior side of the valve, such that a second tether-segment of the implant spans across the valve between the second anchor and a second end of the support. Other embodiments are also described.

  • Publication number: 20210398377
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods of control access to a controlled-access area. In one embodiment the method includes analyzing health data corresponding to a user to determine that the health data satisfies a health standard for an organization controlling the access-controlled location and the health data was captured at a sensing location offsite from the access-controlled location. In one embodiment the method includes determining that the user has authorization from the organization to enter the access-controlled location; and authorizing the user to enter the access-controlled location.

  • Patent number: 11113913
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods of control access to a controlled-access area. The method includes receiving offsite sensor data, receiving offsite user identification data corresponding to the offsite sensor data, determining that the offsite sensor data satisfies an organizational standard, determining that the offsite user identification data corresponds to an approved user, and transmitting a notification to a user device. The method may also include receiving onsite user information and using the offsite sensor data and the onsite user information to determine if a user is approved for access to an access-controlled area. In some examples, the offsite sensor data may be temperature data associated with a febrile condition of a user attempting to gain access to the controlled-access area.

  • Patent number: 10919603
Abstract: A bottom bracket is connected to a spindle and a frame of a bicycle. The bottom bracket comprises a housing and an adapter. The housing is connected to the frame and comprises a substantially circular disc, one or more pins, and an actuating mechanism. The disc comprises a plurality of disc openings arranged proximate to a circumferential edge of the disc and is adapted to rotate with the spindle. The pins selectively engage with the disc openings, wherein the engagement of the pins with the disc openings prevents further rotation of the disc. The actuating mechanism selectively engages the pins with the disc openings. The adapter removably is attached to the housing and connected to the frame.

  • Patent number: 10567351
Abstract: The present invention provides a simple and efficient cipher and key generation and selection capability from a predetermined, randomly changing, fixed size matrix (N) of ciphers and keys resulting in a very high-order approximation (Nr,c??) of a true One Time Pad for encryption solutions such as the CipherLoc Polymorphic Key Progression Algorithmic Cipher Engine. The ciphers are randomly selected from a pool of user supplied ciphers, FIPS 140-2 or other certified ciphers and the keys are produced from various methods for generating a key that includes reading a data stream from a network or a Cryptographic Pseudo Random Number Generator (CPRNG)/Pseudo Random Number Generator (PRNG) or a Predetermined Cryptographic Key Generator (PCKG) or any combination of all. Ciphers and generated keys are randomly paired and stored in a volatile matrix for use by an encryption solution.

  • Publication number: 20160292149
Abstract: Methods and apparatus related to word sense disambiguation utilizing hypernyms. In some implementations, one or more senses of a word are determined based on hypernyms for the word and an association of the word to the one or more senses is stored. In some implementations, a target word in a textual segment is identified and a word sense to assign to the target word is determined based on hypernyms that are associated with the target word.
