  • Publication number: 20230044805
Abstract: The present application provides a device (100) for transferring a fluid from a surgical site, comprising an elongate body portion (102) defining a proximal end region (106) connectable to a source of negative pressure; an elongate neck portion (104) defining a distal end region (108) of the device locatable at a surgical site; a through bore (118) extending from the distal end region to the proximal end region; and a control member (116) for selectively controlling a negative pressure at the distal end region, wherein the control member comprises a valve portion (124) configured to at least partially restrict a fluid flowing along the through bore when moved from an open position towards a closed position. A system including the device for transferring a fluid from a surgical site is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20190039491
Abstract: A vehicle headrest includes a carriage with support rods, an outer headrest connected to the carriage, a vertical locking arrangement with a locking element having a locked state and a released state relative to a support rod locking interface. Release levers, accessible from respective sides, move essentially along a vehicle direction of travel. Release carriers, moveably mounted to the carriage, moves essentially along a vehicle inboard/outboard direction and moves the locking element into the released state. Each release linkage activates the movement of the release carrier. The headrest also includes a forward and rearward locking arrangement for movement of the outer headrest relative to the carriage with support rods with at least some forward and/or rearward movement component. The movement arrangement, for movement of the outer headrest relative to the carriage, does not interrupt the release linkage connection for activating the movement of the release carrier.

  • Publication number: 20170226986
Abstract: The present invention provides a conveyance device for an energy collector such as a wind turbine, solar collector, or a combination thereof. The conveyance device is configured to orient the energy collector by moving the device to compensate for a change in the source of energy such as a change in power, direction, speed, location and a combination thereof. The conveyance device includes a track configured to be positioned near a support structure such as a telecommunications tower and first and second electrical contacts configured to electrically connect the energy collector to an electrical load. The conveyance device is also configured to receive an energy collector configured to be attached to the track such that the energy collector is movable relative to the track. In this manner, there is provided a device for adjusting the orientation of the wind turbine or solar collector such that it collects energy efficiently.

  • Publication number: 20150015048
Abstract: A folding mechanism for a head restraint may include a support member and a latch. The support member may have a first axis and a projection that projects outward from the support member. The latch may be attached to the head restraint and rotatable around the first axis and may have a notch that can receive the projection. The latch may be flexed to pivot a portion of the latch around a second axis in order to move between an unlocked position where the projection is not received in the notch such that the head restraint is rotatable around the support member, and a locked position where the projection is received in the notch such that the head restraint is not rotatable around the support member.
