  • Publication number: 20120241458
Abstract: A sealing product to be sealed on at least one ring-shaped sealing zone which surrounds the opening of a container, made from a sealing sheet including a support layer of a fibrous material of mainly vegetable fibers and a multi-layer structure including, on one of its faces, an adhesive layer and, on its other face, a sealing layer, whereby the sealing product is stamped to make a relief whose form is such that its base follows, at least discontinuously, a contour close to that of the internal edge of the ring-shaped sealing zone, the structure of the sealing sheet including additionally an intermediate layer made of plastic having a good strength, able to undergo plastic deformation, and of which the average thickness is such as it endows the entire sealing product with sufficient malleability and resistance for it to be possible to stamp it to the desired shape without tearing.

  • Publication number: 20080057466
Abstract: A computer implemented method includes providing a first set of digital data corresponding to an upper arch image of at least a portion of an upper dental arch of a patient, providing a second set of digital data corresponding to a lower arch image of at least a portion of a lower dental arch of the patient, providing bite alignment data representative of the spatial relationship between the upper dental arch and the lower dental arch of the patient, and aligning the upper and lower arch images relative to one another based on the bite alignment data until an aligned upper and lower arch image is attained. The aligned upper and lower arch images are moved towards each other until a first contact point is detected and at least one of the upper and lower arch images is moved relative to the other in one or more directions to a plurality of positions for determining optimal occlusion position of the lower and upper dental arches.

  • Patent number: 7274470
Abstract: An optical 3D digitizer with an enlarged non-ambiguity zone, comprising a structured light projector for projecting a fringe pattern over a target area, the fringe pattern having a shiftable position over the target area is disclosed. First and second cameras having overlapping measurement fields are directed toward the target area and positioned with respect to the projector to define distinct triangulation planes therewith. The second camera has a larger non-ambiguity depth than the first camera.

  • Publication number: 20060188145
Abstract: The present invention relates to method and apparatus for producing a personalized 3D object. The method comprises steps of detecting whether a payment has been received, inviting a user to select parameters by means of a user input device and a display, capturing at least two images of a subject, calculating a 3D image with the images captured, producing and delivering the personalized 3D object to the user. In addition, a receipt comprising a web site address, a password and a set of instructions for ordering additional products are delivered to the user and the 3D image and data are transferred to a server via a network connection. The apparatus, or kiosk, comprises a payment detector, a user input device and a display, an image acquisition system, calculators for calculating a 3D image, a manufacturing device and an exit for delivering the personalized 3D object to the user.

  • Patent number: 4031865
Abstract: A fuel cell for generating a hydrogen and oxygen gas utilizing a water electrolyte and a catalyst selected from the group consisting of sodium hydroxide and potassium carbonate. The fuel cell includes a pair of electrodes connected in circuit with an electrical power supply and an outlet for directing the generated hydrogen and oxygen to a drier where it is dried and mixed to form a combustible fuel mixture. The fuel mixture is then directed in accordance to engine demand to the intake manifold of an internal combustion engine as a fuel supplement.
