  • Publication number: 20240124795
Abstract: The instant disclosure is generally directed to low viscosity, low volatility lubricating compositions. The lubricating composition of the instant disclosure includes an oil of lubricating viscosity that contains a lubricating base oil and a hydrocarbon oil. The hydrocarbon oil makes up least 20 wt % of the oil of lubricating viscosity and has a kinematic viscosity of less than 3.7 c St at 100° C. and a NOACK volatility (measured by ASTM D5800) of less than 25 wt %. The lubricant composition further includes a polyalkenyl succinimide dispersant, and, optionally, other formulation additives. The lubricating compositions have been shown to increase fuel economy in internal combustion engines.

  • Patent number: 5390296
Abstract: A method and apparatus for facilitating analysis of data in a data base. The data base data is displayed on a touch sensitive screen. A calculator icon is overlayed on the data. A user selects a function, such as "TOTAL," by touching a corresponding function button displayed as part of the calculator icon. The user then selects the data to be totaled by touching a row header or column header for the data rows or columns he wishes to include in the calculation. Once the data for the calculation is selected, a "=" icon is touched, and a new row or column holding the results of the calculation is inserted into the displayed data. The calculation is displayed in a window of the calculator icon as the calculation is built by the user.

  • Patent number: 5064498
Abstract: A technique for analyzing defective semiconductor chips is disclosed. The silicon substrate of the chip is etched away, leaving the memory cells exposed for viewing. The method includes the steps of: removing oxide from the backside of a semiconductor device; and, placing the semiconductor device into a solution of choline and water. The solution etches away the substrate. The memory cells may be photographed and viewed by TEM and SEM techniques.
