A data transmission/reception method is provided for terminal power stabilization in a communication system using multiple antennas. An optimal antenna immune to absorption loss due to human body proximity is selected from among multiple antennas connected to a single port when a data service is provided. Data for the data service is transmitted and received through the selected antenna.
