  • Publication number: 20160318136
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing multiple metal turbine engine parts, comprising steps consisting in: a) casting a metal alloy in a mould in order to produce a blank (3); and b) machining the blank in order to produce the parts, characterized in that the blank obtained by casting is a solid polyhedron having first and second sides (30a, 30b) and third and fourth sides (30c, 30d), in which the third and fourth sides extend between the first and second sides, flaring apart from the first side towards the second side, first at a first angle and subsequently at a second larger angle, and said at least one part is machined in the blank.

  • Publication number: 20160318137
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing multiple metal turbine engine parts, comprising steps consisting in: a) casting a metal alloy in a mould in order to produce a blank (3); and b) machining the blank in order to produce the parts, characterized in that the blank obtained by casting is a solid polyhedron with two generally trapezoidal opposing sides (30a, 30b), and the parts are machined in the blank.

  • Patent number: 7841083
Abstract: A method of producing cooling fluid discharge orifices in the wall of a part manufactured by the technique of lost wax casting in which a pattern of the part is produced in a wax mold, the orifices each having a first portion emerging at the external surface of the wall is disclosed. The method includes making cavities in the wax pattern that correspond to the first portions of said orifices of the part. Thus, it is possible to produce cooling air discharge orifices without sharp edges.

  • Publication number: 20070175009
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of producing cooling fluid discharge orifices in the wall (171) of a part manufactured by the technique of lost wax casting in which a pattern of the part is produced in a wax mold, the orifices having a first portion (110E) emerging at the external surface (171ext) of the wall. The method consists in making cavities in the wax pattern that correspond to the first portions (110E) of said orifices of the part. Thus it is possible to produce cooling air discharge orifices without sharp edges.
