  • Patent number: 12043349
Abstract: The invention relates to a system (1) for transferring liquefied gas between a first facility and a second facility, said transfer system (1) including: an articulated arm (2) including a first proximal part (6) suitable for being mounted so that it can rotate on the first facility about a first vertical axis (A), a second median part (7) that is mounted pivoting on the first proximal part (6) and a third distal part (8) that is mounted pivoting on the second median part (7); and at least one transfer line (3, 4, 5), suitable for transferring liquefied gas between the first facility and the second facility, and including a flexible first proximal portion (15) suitable for being connected to a liquefied gas storage tank of the first facility; a rigid second median portion (16) that is fastened to the second median part (7) of the articulated arm (2) and a third distal portion (17) that is suspended on the third distal part (8) of the articulated arm (2) and has an end suitable for being connected to a manif

  • Patent number: 10086914
Abstract: A system for transferring fluid between a ship and a facility has a mast with a proximal end pivotally mounted on a deck of the ship and a distal end, a fluid-transfer line extending along the mast, a flexible pipe with a first end connected to the fluid-transfer line and a second end connected to a manifold of the facility, the flexible pipe being equipped with a connecting device having an emergency cut-off comprising two elements which are capable of automatically separating in a separation direction, when a separating force which is above a threshold is exerted, and a guide element supported by the mast, and comprising a convex surface for guiding the flexible pipe which is capable of absorbing a pulling force of the flexible pipe such that this force is exerted on the connecting device having an emergency cut-off in the separation direction.

  • Patent number: 9422043
Abstract: A vessel provided with at least one rigid wingsail installation with a mast structure and a rigid wingsail. The mast structure comprises a foot and a mast top which is rotatable about a substantially vertical wingsail rotation axis relative to the vessel. The mast top is provided with a primary tilting assembly. The rigid wingsail comprises a main panel connected to the mast structure via the primary tilting assembly. This assembly allows tilting of the main panel relative to the mast top about a primary tilt axis. The rigid wingsail also comprises a top panel which is connected at its lower end to the upper end of the main panel via a secondary tilting assembly. This assembly allows tilting of the top panel relative to the main panel about a secondary tilting axis.
