    Abstract: One embodiment of the invention may be a door stopper and a method of operating same, the door stopper may comprise a base plate and a pivoting arm, the base plate having at least a first side and a second side, the first side being pivotally connected to a pivoting arm in a manner that allows the pivoting arm to move between an operating position and a storage position; wherein the door stopper attaches by its second side to a side of a door of a doorway proximate to a edge of the door in a manner that allows the pivoting arm to move from a storage position to an operating position automatically, this operating position allows the pivoting arm to prevent the door from fully closing within the doorway.
