Abstract: An arcade game includes a frame assembly that is selectively configurable between an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration. The frame assembly includes a rear frame and a front frame that are connected by telescoping struts that allow the length of the frame assembly to be shortened when in the collapsed configuration and extended when in the expanded configuration. The front frame and the rear frame each include vertical struts that provide support for the side nets and apron that define the game play area. Optionally, a front panel is hingedly attached to the front frame. The front panel may be deployed at an angle in the expanded configuration or positioned substantially parallel to the front vertical struts to reduce the footprint of the frame assembly in the collapsed configuration.

Abstract: A tray for processing platelet rich fibrin includes a base having at least one alignment structure, a screen attachment having at least one alignment structure for engagement with the base, and a lid having at least one alignment structure for engagement with the base and the screen attachment. The screen attachment includes a screen offset between the top and bottom surface of the screen. When the screen attachment is placed on the base with the top surface facing upward, the lid is configured to compress a fibrin clot placed on the screen to a first thickness, and when the screen attachment is placed on the base with the bottom surface facing upward the lid is configured to compress a fibrin clot placed on the screen to a second thickness different from the first thickness.

Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present disclosure provide weights used as game pieces with shuffleboard game tables. The weights include an opaque base and a light transmissive cap. One or more lamps, such as LED lamps, are mounted within the weight to illuminate the game playing piece. A plurality of weights may be used on a shuffle game table.

Abstract: An arcade game system includes a frame that is made from an arrangement of pivotally connected panels that are formed from an assembly of struts arranged in a planar configuration. The frame includes a rear panel, a front panel, and a first and second body panel. When the frame is in an unfolded configuration a game play area is defined between the rear panel and the front panel and above the first body panel and the second body panel. The frame may also be arranged in a collapsed configuration in which each of the rear panel, first body panel, second body panel, and front body panel are parallel to each of the other panels to form a stack of panels.

Abstract: A game table is illustrates as a combination of the game of table soccer (also called foosball) and air hockey. The game table can be easily converted between a soccer game configuration and an air hockey configuration. In one aspect, the sidewalls of the game table incorporate at least one bushing structure allowing each rod to be selectively disengaged. In certain aspects the game table can be used to play a game using soccer player rods and figures and using a playing piece which floats on an air cushion. In certain embodiments, an asymmetric game playing piece may be used.

The client subsystem includes a client application (110, 120, 130, 140, 150) operable to initiate a secure connection over the interconnecting network with the server subsystem (200). The server subsystem includes a server application (254, 255, 256, 257), which is operable to co-operate with the client application to complete the setting up of a secure connection with the client application upon initiation of the connection by the client application and which is further operable to transmit output data over such a connection in response to requests for service provided by the client application.

Abstract: A client-side intermediary (30) is provided to balance the loading of Web service requests between a plurality of servers (32). The status of the Web service servers (32) is monitored by a monitoring server (35) which provides status updates to the intermediary (30) upon request. The intermediary then uses the information on the status of the servers (32) to decide where to send web service requests. Additionally, the intermediary is able to direct requests for Web service descriptions to the least busy server on the basis of status information. The intermediary (30) substitutes its own identifier for the service name and port in the Web service description before passing it to the client so that all requests are directed through it, thus allowing the continual provision of service for the client even in the event that one of the servers fails.
