  • Patent number: 12512597
Abstract: A radio-frequency identification (RFID) antenna, per an implementation, includes a substrate, a metalized pattern, one or more slots, a ground plane, a shorting strip, and one or more feed lines. The metalized pattern has microstrip segments and a lateral microstrip. The slot(s) is situated between the microstrip segments. The ground plane extends from the substrate via the shorting strip. The feed line(s) resides on a surface of the substrate. In a slot mode of use of the RFID antenna, an electromagnetic field radiates from the slot. In a patch mode of use of the RFID antenna, an electromagnetic field radiates adjacent ends of the metalized pattern.

  • Publication number: 20250367501
Abstract: An exercise bicycle having various enhanced or updated features or components is described. For example, the exercise bicycle may include various enhanced brake or braking structures, such as brake locks and brakes having thermal sensing components. The brake, or resistance mechanism, may perform thermal sensing (e.g., measuring a temperature at or around the brake) when the bicycle in being used during an exercise activity, and adjust or modify certain captured parameters (e.g., a resistance applied to a flywheel of the brake and/or a performance output or power level) based on the measured temperature.

  • Patent number: 12475699
Abstract: Implementing a user interface for contextual validation of recognized text is described. A server may receive image data representing a document, determine, based at least in part on the image data, a type of the document, recognize a text element included in a portion of the document, and determine a point in a data validation process that is associated with the type of the document and/or determine an electronic form that is associated with the type of the document. The server may further cause a user interface to be displayed via an application executing on an electronic device, wherein the user interface presents: (i) an image of the portion of the document adjacent to a field populated with the text element; and (ii) at least one interactive element that, upon selection, indicates that a user of the electronic device validates the text element within the field.

  • Publication number: 20240226662
Abstract: Various techniques are provided adjusting user controls in exercise equipment. In one example, a method includes receiving data from output circuitry associated with one or more sensors coupled to one or more handle control systems positioned on a handlebar of an exercise apparatus, processing the data to identify one or more adjustments to be implemented on the exercise apparatus, and providing one or more commands to one or more adjustment mechanisms to implement the one or more identified adjustments. The one or more handle control systems are positioned on the handlebar of the exercise apparatus at a position that allows the user to actuate the resistance knob control without moving the user's hands. Additional methods and systems are also provided.
