Abstract: A payment terminal sanitizing device includes a housing having a base member configured to removably secure to a payment terminal. The base member includes tabs and slots that engage corresponding tabs and slots on the payment terminal. A top cover is removably secured to the base member. The sides of the top cover and base member curve outwardly to form an interior volume between the top cover and base portion. The interior volume includes a plurality of brackets configured to support individual UV lights that are positioned on opposing sides of the interior of the housing. The UV lights are operably connected to a power source, such as a wall outlet, for example. The UV lights are oriented such that they illuminate or irradiate the input mechanisms of the payment terminal, in order to prevent the spread of germs between individual users of the payment terminal.

Abstract: There is provided a composite comprising an interlayer disposed between a first interpenetrating layer and a second interpenetrating layer, the interlayer consisting essentially of a porous material, the first interpenetrating layer partially interpenetrating the interlayer, and the second interpenetrating layer partially interpenetrating the interlayer. There is also provided a process for bonding, the process comprising: providing an interlayer consisting essentially of a porous material; partially interpenetrating the interlayer with a first interpenetrating layer; and partially interpenetrating the interlayer with a second interpenetrating layer. The composite and process are useful in the assembly, repair and insertion of articles.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for molding thermoformable sheet material is set forth. The method includes the steps of providing a conventional stamp type mold, one section of which provides a compliant mold member which is augmented by diaphragm. The diaphragm coacts with the compliant member during a molding phase to ensure dimensional uniformity in the molded article. Further, tight or detailed areas are easily molded by making use of the compliant and diaphragm members. In a further embodiment, tension adjusting is achieved during molding by a series of discrete tension members. The tension members cooperate with the compliant and diaphragm members to significantly improve dimensional uniformity and prevent wrinkling in the molded article.

Abstract: A glazing unit having a quadrangular sash mounted to an opening of a wall or of a door and carrying a large glass pane. A decorative grille is applied against the surface of the glass pane. The grille is releasably connected to the sash thanks to invisible clips. The grille is made of muntin rods which are easily assembled, thanks to double headed couplers, joining intersecting sections of the muntin rods, and also single head couplers, joining the muntin rods to the peripheral frame of the grille.
