Abstract: A system for mixing a liquid with a powder into a solution batch includes a hopper (20) into which said powder is deposited, the hopper (20) having a powder outlet (22) therein. A mix tank (60) is also provided having a liquid supply inlet (62), a recirculation inlet (64), and a solution outlet (66). A mix pump (40) that is in fluid communication with the solution outlet (66), the powder outlet (22), and the recirculation inlet (64) operates to mix and transfer the solution.

An example device comprises a first subsystem, a second subsystem, a compression device, and an item retrieval lift. The compression device is configured to assist with combining a coating material to the food item.

Abstract: A battery combiner having three power ports for interfacing with a DC power load and with two DC power batteries or other DC power sources. A conductive path interconnects the three power ports. A switching circuit includes a switch for each of the DC power battery ports with each switch operable by a controller to direct current flow between one battery and the DC power load while isolating the other battery from the other conductive path. Sensors corresponding with each power port sense voltage and/or current from each of the external devices. Data ports corresponding with each power port allow communication between the controller and smart external devices connected to the power ports. The battery combiner is operable to power the DC power load with one battery source until the battery source is depleted and to switch to the other battery source to power the load without interruption.

Abstract: The canopy has a generally dome-shaped cover which, in use opens downwardly. The canopy is used in conjunction with a clamp for attaching the canopy to a table such that access to any objects on the table top cannot be gained without detaching the canopy from the table top. The canopy prevents unwanted handling of dishes and cutlery during pre-meal set up as well as unwanted handling of food and any other items on the table before a meal is ready to be served.
