  • Publication number: 20140247457
Abstract: A system and method of creating a one-way see-through shelf set presentation of products is disclosed. According to one embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes receiving product identification numbers that correspond to a plurality of products and retrieving price and image data for each of the plurality of products from a data storage unit based the received product identification numbers. The computer-implemented method also includes generating from the retrieved price and image data a printable image of a shelf set that depicts the plurality of products.

  • Patent number: 7587958
Abstract: A motor vehicle gear shift assembly includes a dampening device and a detent structure. The dampening device includes a body structure made of a resilient material, a mounting structure for securing it to structure of the gear shift assembly, and a flexible dampening surface. The flexible dampening surface of the dampening device flexes to decelerate and stop the movement of the detent structure.

  • Publication number: 20070023231
Abstract: A safety harness for a hunter is provided having two primary straps which wrap around the legs and shoulders of the user. A safety tether may be attached to the primary straps to provide support to the user and prevent falls. A climbing strap is attached to each primary strap, and provides support for the user while climbing a tree or other vertical structure. Loops are provided on the sides of the safety harness for attachment thereto of any variety of climbing ropes or supports.

  • Publication number: 20060226686
Abstract: An energy absorption assembly for a seat assembly having a seatback including a first frame and a second frame includes a housing, a torsion bar rotatably supported by the housing in a first rotational direction and in a second rotational direction, and a clutch assembly engaged with the torsion bar. Engagement between the clutch assembly and the torsion bar permits rotation of the torsion bar relative to the housing in one of the first direction and the second direction to permit movement of the second frame relative to the first frame and restricts rotation of the torsion bar relative to the housing in the other of the first direction and the second direction to restrict movement of the second frame relative to the first frame. Restricting rotation of the torsion bar relative to the housing absorbs energy associated with movement of the second frame relative to the first frame.

  • Publication number: 20060138817
Abstract: An energy absorption system for a seat assembly includes a first housing plate and a second housing plate defining coaxial elongate apertures having a first end and a second end. A torsion bar is fixed for movement with the seatback and is slidably received within the elongate apertures and a biasing member is supported by one of the housing plates and imparts a biasing force on the torsion bar to bias the torsion bar toward the first ends of the elongate apertures. When a force is applied to the torsion bar, the torsion bar moves toward the second end of the apertures and against the biasing force to absorb energy associated with the force. When the torsion bar reaches the second end of the apertures, the torsion bar may yield to further absorb energy.

  • Publication number: 20050189176
Abstract: A harness for a hunter is provided having a tree mounting assembly. The tree mounting assembly includes a retractor configured to arrest the fall of a user. The retractor contains about 20 feet of webbing and is configured to actuate to locked webbing when the webbing is paying out at a rate indicative of slightly greater than about 0.5 g acceleration being applied to the user coupled to the webbing.

  • Publication number: 20050039979
Abstract: A controlled descent mechanism with a self locking feature. The mechanism includes a belt with an end for attaching to a higher elevation and a free end. The belt is routed between moveable pins within the mechanism and slides across the pins as it moves through the mechanism. The pins can be moved toward one another to induce a dynamic friction within the mechanism to slow the rate of belt movement. The mechanism includes an attachment location for a user harness, and can be used to lower the user while controlling the rate of descent. The mechanism includes a self locking feature to automatically arrest the descent of the user.
