  • Publication number: 20200354944
Abstract: A tool for cleaning a drain includes a handle, a shaft, an auger head, and a sleeve. The handle includes a core, a crank, and a grip. The core defines a tool axis along the length of the tool. The crank is made integral with the core and extends radially from the core and the tool axis. The grip extends orthogonally from the crank and parallel to the core. The grip turns the crank to rotate the auger head relative to the sleeve, when the sleeve is held in place. The auger head at the end of the shaft is made integral with the shaft and has an elongated and undulated shape. The auger head includes a plurality of segments, and each segment has a curved surface, and there are barbs on a respective curved surface.

  • Publication number: 20200277767
Abstract: The tool for clearing a clog includes a tool shaft, a nozzle body, and a handle portion. The tool shaft includes an outer tube, an inner tube, and radial supports for the inner tube. The outer tube can be symmetrical so that the nozzle body can be aimed according to alignment of the outer tube. The nozzle body includes a nozzle connector, a sealing member with a hardness less than the nozzle connecter and a diameter greater than the nozzle connector, and a nozzle tip. The sealing member can create the seal. The handle portion includes a handle body, handles, a handle chamber with a pin member, air cartridge, and a button member, and a handle body cover. The attachment of the handle body cover sets the button member in a sealed position to release the blast of air from the air cartridge, when moved to the released position.

  • Publication number: 20200022355
Abstract: The device for swatting insects includes a shaft having a distal end and a proximal end, a handle portion mounted on the proximal end, and a paddle portion mounted on the distal end. The paddle portion absorbs excess force so that strong swings to strike the insect are less likely to damage the device. The paddle portion includes an elongated frame, a plurality of first flaps, and a plurality of second flaps. The elongated frame has top contact portion and a bottom contact portion. An initial configuration includes the flaps being planar and the top contact portion being furthest apart from the bottom contact portion in preparation to strike. A deformed configuration includes the flaps being bent upward from the frame and the top contact portion and the bottom contact portion closer to each other during the strike on the insect.

  • Publication number: 20200015648
Abstract: The device for cleaning floors includes a central shaft having a proximal end and a distal end, a handle on the proximal end, a scraper on the distal end, and a broom attachment mounted on the central shaft between the distal end and the proximal end. The central shaft is an ovoid tubular member so as to prevent rotation of the broom attachment around the central shaft. The broom attachment includes a bristle portion, a housing frame, and a sleeve portion. The bristle portion of the broom attachment aligns with the blade portion of the scraper on the ovoid tubular member of the central shaft. The sleeve portion circumscribes the central shaft. There is a first configuration with the bristle portion extending beyond the blade portion for sweeping. There is a second configuration with the blade portion extending beyond the bristle portion for scraping.

  • Patent number: 10271655
Abstract: The step stool includes a front frame member, a back frame member, a first side frame member, a top panel having a top front panel and a top back panel, and a support panel member. The top front panel is hinged to the top back panel at a top side middle hinge on the midline of the top panel. The support panel member reinforces the midline of the top panel in the assembled configuration. The base end of the support panel member is aligned with the base ends of the front frame member and back frame member to support the weight on the step stool. The top front panel and the top back panel fold around the support panel in the storage configuration.

  • Publication number: 20180168915
Abstract: The apparatus for cupping includes a cupping bell, a suction chamber, and a piston member with a handle and piston skirt. The suction chamber connects to the cupping bell, and actuation of the piston member through the suction chamber creates a vacuum in the cupping bell. Skin and soft tissue adjacent to the opened end of the cupping bell is suctioned into the cupping bell for cupping therapy of the treatment area. The suction chamber has a locking device cooperative with a locking notch on the piston so that dimensions of the piston member correspond to set levels of suction in the cupping bell with continuous pressure when increasing suction during a treatment. The cupping bell has a flared portion for engaging the treatment area with less trauma and pain for the patient.

  • Patent number: 9822987
Abstract: The dehumidifier container for storing desiccant includes a storage compartment and a holding compartment. The storage compartment has side walls and a bottom base to form a top opening with attachment devices. The attachment devices allow release of the storage compartment from the container for disposal of collected water without disturbing the desiccant material in the holding compartment. The holding compartment has a housing with openings along the bottom edge, a bottom panel, and a top panel with a vent. The bottom panel has a funnel portion and a drain outlet. Air flows through the vent of the top panel and openings of the housing. Fluid collected by the desiccant drains through the bottom panel to the storage compartment. There is a filter between the funnel portion and the drain outlet to maintain the desiccant in the holding compartment, while only fluid collects in the storage compartment.

  • Patent number: 9217243
Abstract: The tool for cleaning a drain includes a handle, a strip member, and an end piece. The handle inserts and removes the tool from the drain. The strip member has an elongated and undulated shape and is formed by segments. Each segment has a curvature with a concave side and convex side, which alternate from adjacent segments. Each segment also has barbs on each concave side. The barbs are shielded by an adjacent convex side of an adjacent segment. The end piece connects to a bottom segment of the strip member and has a collar and tip. The collar has a protective shoulder to shield barbs of the bottom segment and an actuatable spike to collect debris when bent. The tip has a distal point with prongs and a distal shoulder, which shields the prongs. The tip may also include a shaft with shaft barbs protected by a shaft shoulder.

  • Publication number: 20150314942
Abstract: The container for storing a desiccant material includes a flexible housing having a front panel, a back panel, a sealed end, and an opened end. The side edges of the front panel attach to side edges of the back panel so as to form a sleeve. An insert member mounted within the sleeve forms a first chamber and a second chamber. The desiccant material is stored in the first chamber, and water absorbed from the atmosphere is collected in the second chamber. A drain connects the first chamber and the second chamber through the insert member. The top of the first chamber can have a lid member and vapor permeable membrane for exposing the desiccant material of the first chamber to the atmosphere. A retractable hook in the lid member supports the container when hanging. The container is foldable and flexible for convenient storage for re-use or disposal.
