    Abstract: A feather brush comprises a resilient member having a plurality of feathers inserted thereinto so that their shafts penetrate through to a second side thereof where they are embedded in a body of solid adhesive material so that they cannot be removed therefrom. The brushes are particularly well adapted for use as large area tack brushes employed in the preparation of articles for painting or coating. Also disclosed herein is a method for the manufacture of such brushes.
