  • Patent number: 11173057
Abstract: A transtibial socket for a prosthetic lower limb includes a mesh arranged between rigid struts. The mesh includes a plurality of support members and a plurality of tensile members, optionally in combination with spacer members arranged between different support members. At least one tensioning member coupled with the tensile member extends through of past guides in the struts to an adjustable tensioning apparatus that is configured to allow the mesh to be constricted radially by the amputee-user. The mesh allows for the heat dissipation and volume adjustment, while increasing contact area and force distribution around a residual limb.

  • Patent number: 10932516
Abstract: The footwear can be convertible between a shoe configuration and a sandal configuration. A flexible front vamp portion can be elevated into an upwardly flexed and elevated position so it creates a cavity, in conjunction with the footwear upper portion, to receive the foot of the wearer to provide a shoe configuration. In particular, the toes of the wearer can reside in the cavity portion formed by the flexible front vamp portion. For conversion to a sandal configuration, the midsole can be removed from the outer sole and the front vamp portion can be downwardly flexed so that it collapses and then nests into the outer sole. The midsole can be replaced back into the outer sole, with the front vamp portion captured between the midsole and the outer sole, so the footwear can function as a sandal with the wearer's toes exposed.

  • Publication number: 20200325013
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a colorant dispensing system that has a colorant dispensing head and a platform for holding a target canister into which colorant is dispensed. A light array can be used produce a light pattern in an arc of a circle at a height of an opening of the target canister. The light pattern can be focused at the opening of the target canister, to help a user align the opening with the dispensing head. The dispensing head is configured to dispense colorant within the boundary of the circle, such that the light pattern can act as a type of target for dispensing colorant into the opening of the canister to avoid issues when tinting. A control unit can be used with an interface to control the light array to accommodate different sized and shaped canisters.
