Abstract: Methods and apparatus for using augmented reality (AR) for network device management, including device configuration, are described. The methods and apparatus allow a device manager to view network devices on a screen of a mobile device which captures an image of the actual network devices. The mobile device may be a notepad, cellphone, or laptop which includes a camera for capturing pictures to the devices. The location of the mobile device, and thus the location of the network devices whose images are captured, is determined. Devices are identified in a captured image and device information is provided in an augmented realty image displayed to a network device manager using the mobile device. The manager can initiate a terminal session and change device settings while viewing an AR image and/or network devices on a display of the mobile device with the network devices appearing as if being viewed through the display.

Abstract: Using at least one hardware processor, obtain, at a network monitoring location, an indication of a putative power failure at a remote network location. Responsive to obtaining the indication, initiate, using the at least one hardware processor, an automated triage process to determine whether the putative power failure is an actual power service failure. Using the at least one hardware processor, issue an alert based on the determination of whether the putative power failure is an actual power service failure.

Abstract: A multilayer composite comprises a printable facestock with a carrier sheet separably laminated directly to its top surface. The facestock is a dimensionally unstable and/or low flexural stiffness transparent film having a thickness not greater than about 4.0 mils. In subsequent processing, graphics are printed on the bottom surface of the facestock followed by the application of pressure sensitive adhesive and a release liner. The liner is removable, allowing the composite to be adhered to a substrate, with the graphics remaining beneath and protected by the facestock. The carrier sheet is separable from the top surface of the facestock, either before or following removal of the release liner.
