Abstract: A system for providing portable light; the system includes a charging base station having a communications transmitter and a portable light device configured to mechanically, electronically, and communicably couple with the charging base station. The portable light device includes a housing, a first light source, a second light source, at least one hook, at least one side mount, a communications receiver, an electronic alarm, and a rechargeable battery supply. The system further includes a mobile application that is useful for operating and establishing communications between the communications transmitter and the portable light device.
