  • Publication number: 20190370457
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, a method is performed at an electronic device with a display device and one or more input devices. The method includes displaying, via the display device, a user interface that includes a new-password field. The method includes detecting, via the one or more input devices, a user input that corresponds to selection of the new-password field. In response to detecting the user input that corresponds to selection of the new-password field, the method includes displaying, on the display device, a representation of a new automatically-generated password in the new-password field and displaying, on the display device, an affordance to accept the new automatically-generated password and an affordance to decline to use the new automatically-generated password.

  • Publication number: 20080051381
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to methods of suppressing estrus in breeding or competitive animals comprising parenterally administering to breeding animals an estrus suppressing amount of 17-?-Allyl-17-?-hydroxyoestra-4,9,11-trien-3-one. According to the method of the present invention, estrus can be suppressed for any of a variety of periods including 30 days or more. Furthermore, the method of the present invention includes repeated sustained release doses for an indefinite period.

  • Patent number: 7277778
Abstract: A chemical injection system has a pump and an actuator connected to the pump. The actuator further comprises a first sensor for sensing a deactivated state of the pump; a second sensor for sensing an activated state of the pump; a computer connected to the first and second sensors and the actuator; and an interface connected to the computer, to receive commands from, and to transmit data to, a control point. The computer further comprises a stored program. The stored program contains instructions to energize the actuator to cause the pump to dispense a pre-determined quantity of chemical and to verify that the pump has actually operated to dispense the pre-determined quantity of chemical.

  • Patent number: 7237470
Abstract: A fluid power unit has a cylinder in a housing, a piston slidable in the cylinder and dividing the cylinder into a retract side and an extend side, and a two-position control valve. The control valve has a spool and first and second pilots. The position of the spool is responsive to the first and second pilots. There is a retract poppet valve in the retract side of the cylinder, and an extend poppet valve in the extend side. The retract and extend poppet valves are biased to a closed position. The retract poppet valve is in a fluid path between the retract side and the control valve; the extend poppet valve is in a fluid path between the extend side and the control valve. The alternate movement of the piston in the cylinder alternately opens and closes the poppet valves, The circuit connects the poppet valves to the pilots and alternately applies and releases pressure to the pilots, causing the spool of the control valve to shift and apply inlet pressure to the piston on alternate sides.

  • Patent number: 6053937
Abstract: An ablation apparatus has an introducer including an introducer lumen, a proximal portion and a distal portion. Two or more electrodes are at least partially positionable in the introducer lumen. Each electrode is configured to be advanced from the introducer distal portion in a deployed state into a selected tissue site to define a volumetric ablation volume. A fluid delivery member is positioned on at least a portion of an exterior of one of the electrodes. The fluid delivery member is configured to be coupled to a fluid medium source. A cable is coupled to the electrodes.

  • Patent number: 6028057
Abstract: Controlled release compositions and methods for inducing pseudopregnancy in gilts and sows are disclosed. In the preferred embodiment, the formulation includes polylactide microspheres releasing estradiol 17.beta. at physiologically useful levels over a period of time between five and thirty days. Following induction of pseudopregnancy, the pseudopregnancy can be terminated and estrus induced by administration of a compound such as PGF2.alpha.. The advantages of inducing pseudopregnancy followed by induction of estrus are that the breeding patterns of large numbers of gilts and sows can be controlled.

  • Patent number: 4728163
Abstract: A dual gender electrical connector is made up of a "male" member, a "female" member, and a positioning means. The positioning means may be integral with either the male or female member, and/or a part of any shielding used. The male member is made up of a non-conductive support material of predetermined thickness in which electrically conductive electrical contacts are embedded in parallel. Short lengths of the electrical contacts are exposed on the rear end for connection to electrical conductors. Longer lengths of electrical contacts are exposed on the front end. The female member is made up of an electrically non-conductive support material of the basic form and often the same material as the male member, though not the same depth as the male member. Tubes having a length equal to approximately the depth of the female member support material are positioned within the support material so as to be capable of sliding over and in contact with the electrical contacts of the male member.
