  • Publication number: 20040181987
Abstract: A label assembly having a face sheet adhered to a back sheet. A separation line includes at least one first tearable line of separation extending across the face sheet and a second tearable line of separation extending across the back sheet. Each first tearable line of separation is offset with respect to the second tearable line of separation. In a method for printing a plurality of portions of the label assembly, the label assembly is routed through a printer and print is applied to a first portion of the label assembly. The first portion is separated from a second portion and the second portion is routed through a printer and print is applied to the second portion of the label assembly.

  • Publication number: 20040159403
Abstract: A label assembly having a face sheet with a removable label portion is used in connection with an apparatus that includes a base that accommodates the label assembly in an aligned position. The label assembly further includes a back sheet having a removable first portion generally coextensive with the label portion of the face sheet so that when the first portion is removed from the label assembly, a remaining portion of the back sheet is attached to the label portion of the face sheet. An arm is connected with respect to the base to extend over the label assembly as the label portion is applied.

  • Patent number: 6776866
Abstract: A method for labeling an object using a label sheet with a back sheet and a face sheet wherein the face sheet includes an adhesive side and a printable side. A first portion of the back sheet is removed from the face sheet to expose a label portion of the face sheet so that the adhesive side faces upwards. The label sheet is placed into an indexed position on an apparatus; whereupon the object is placed onto the apparatus and the label portion is resulting transferred onto on to the object.

  • Patent number: 6776867
Abstract: A method for applying a label to an object using a label assembly with a back sheet and a face sheet includes exposing at least one hole in the face sheet by remove a first portion of the back sheet from the face sheet. The label assembly is then aligned with an applicator apparatus using the at least one hole and a corresponding locating element on the apparatus. An object is then placed onto the label assembly on the apparatus to transfer the label of the face sheet onto the object.
