  • Patent number: 11864548
Abstract: A rodent trap has a base with a rodent inlet opening and interior walls which define a rodent runway which communicates with a trap interior compartment. A downwardly opening compartment with a cover defines a case which receives a sensor module mounted beneath a threshold at the entry of the rodent runway to the trap interior compartment. The module has a capacitance sensor which detects the passage of a rodent into the interior compartment, and has a programmable controller which logs each rodent entry. The module has a Bluetooth transmitter which allows the module to communicate with a pest control operator to exchange the logged information. The case encloses the sensor module and protects it from exposure to moisture, dirt, and rodent waste within the trap interior.

  • Patent number: 11337416
Abstract: A mechanical rodent trap has a jaw mounted to a base, with a trigger therebetween which is activated by the incidence of a rodent. An acceleration sensor is mounted in a case in the base in a sensor module that logs and transmit a signal indicating activation of the trap. Alternatively a magnet holder secures a magnet to the trigger, and a Hall effect sensor is used in the sensor module. The sensor modules are sealed within a compartment formed with the base beneath the trigger and closed by a cover.

  • Patent number: 10897887
Abstract: A rodent bait station has an electronic sensor module protected within a sealed receptacle beneath a tray bottom wall. A threshold is defined by walls on the upper side of the tray. A rodent must pass over the threshold to reading a feeding portion of the tray which supports rodent bait. The sensor module has a capacitance sensor urged against the bottom wall of the tray and which detects the passing of a rodent into the feeding area. The incidence of the rodent is logged and made available to a device exterior of the tray.

  • Publication number: 20040257402
Abstract: A printhead (30) for a printer cartridge comprises a die including a plurality of nozzles (32) and channels for admitting ink to said nozzles. A resistor network comprises a resistor (29) at each nozzle, which when energised heats and expels ink from the respective nozzle. The printhead includes a set of contact pads (33), each resistor being connected by a trace (34) to a respective contact apd of the set of contact pads. One or more of the set of contact pads (R50, ID2) is adapted to receive more than one connection (38) from a circuit (35) external to said printhead.

  • Patent number: 6276489
Abstract: A flanged link cross tube (1) for use in pivotal connections of beams (10) that locates weld roots (5) to the outer mating surface of beam (10) and flange (4). As the beams (10) rotate about a pivot connection, high torque loading occurs along the common plane (Z) between adjacent beams (10). Locating weld roots (5) on the outer mating surface of beams (10) and flanges (4) reduces loading on weld roots (5) and extends the useful life of a scissors lift (20).

  • Patent number: 5568786
Abstract: This specification discloses a communication device used by a patron to gain the attention of a host in the food service industry. A clip is used to clip onto a conventional checkholder (not shown) . Adhered to the clip is a platform which acts as a base. On one end of the platform will be a release latch spring and release latch button working in conjunction with a disc rotate pin and a disc rotate spring which will enable the proper oscillation of the disc. The disc will rotate from a parallel position to the platform when closed to a vertical position to the platform when opened. The rotation of this disc will notify the host from a distance that the patron is in need of service. Once the patron has been accommodated the host can return the disc to its normally closed position which is parallel to the platform.

  • Patent number: 4917348
Abstract: A diaphragm valve suitable for use as filling nozzle cut-off valve in the container filling industry. The valve includes a valve head (18) having a operational surface (62) provided with a centrally located shallow recessed portion (64) and an air hole (68) extending to the recessed portion. The valve further includes a valve body (16) having a smooth surface disposed in alignment with the operational surface of the valve head, inlet and outlet ports (24, 26, respectively), and spaced apart inlet and outlet passageways (36, 38, respectively) extending respectively from the inlet and outlet ports to inlet and outlet passageway openings (36a, 38a, respectively) in the area of the smooth surface opposite the recessed portion of the valve head, the inlet and outlet passageway openings being arranged in two columns symmetrical with the center of the smooth surface.
