Abstract: A method for determining the energy factor for similar buildings, the method being implemented on a computer device comprising one or more processors programmed with one or more computer program instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, program the computer device to perform the method, the method comprising selecting a group of buildings with a similar floor plan; performing an energy audit of at least one building in the selected group of buildings. The energy audit comprises determining the thermodynamic efficiency of the structure of each building in the group of buildings, and determining the energy efficiency of at least one control system consuming energy in each building.
