  • Publication number: 20240417879
Abstract: A head unit for electrochemical treatment of a surface including a handle having an output tube and a vacuum tube. The output tube and the vacuum tube configured to couple the handle to a portable cart. The head unit including a body coupled to the handle and an electrode disposed within the body and coupled to the output tube and the vacuum tube. The electrode including a plurality of output channels for outputting an electrochemical solution and a plurality of vacuum channels for vacuuming the electrochemical solution outputted from the plurality of output channels. Each of the plurality of output channels is disposed proximate to at least one of the plurality of vacuum channels and the electrode is fluidly coupled to the output tube to receive the electrochemical solution from the output tube.

  • Publication number: 20180252180
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for forming a lining on the walls of an inner pipe of a cast aluminium-alloy part, including inserting a cathode into the pipe, circulating an electrolyte solution in said pipe between the cathode and the walls of the pipe forming an anode, and applying a potential difference between the anode and the cathode, the method being characterised in that applying the potential difference between the anode and the cathode includes applying a series of DC voltage pulses to the anode. The invention also relates to a cylinder head in which the exhaust pipes are lined with a lining obtained by implementing said method.
