  • Patent number: 4700743
Abstract: Miniature fluidic connector that fits into an electrical connector for printed circuit boards with a built-in heat exchanger. Male and female fluidic contacts are mountable in openings in the plug or receptacle of the electrical connector and have respective tips to couple with each other. Upon coupling, the ends of the openings of the plug and the receptacle of the electrical connector are substantially in pressure contact against each other. Preferably, the male and female fluidic contacts have inner chambers adapted to receive self-plugging devices.

  • Patent number: 4598965
Abstract: A zero insertion force connector for a rectangular chip carrier and a closure clip for such a connector, comprising on the one hand a rectangular base and on the other a clip formed by a rectangular frame coming to bear on the upper part of the carrier, said clip being fixed to said base by hooks disposed at the four corners of the rectangular frame and cooperating with corresponding housings in the base. Said clip further comprises at least two oppositely disposed bearing arms connected together by two cross arms, each bearing arm comprising substantially in the middle thereof a bearing zone to which are connected two symmetrical half arms forming a V in the free condition, the ends of said half arms situated in the vicinity of said hooks being at a level higher than the bearing zone when said clip is in the free condition and substantially at the same level thereas when it is fixed to said base.

  • Patent number: 4555153
Abstract: A connector having at least one contact with a resiliently deformable arm, inserted longitudinally in a socket formed in an insulating block and having longitudinal generatrices, and comprising: a body cooperating with at least one edge of the socket so that, once the contact has been inserted, it has a longitudinal axis substantially parallel to the direction of the generatrices of the socket; an output terminal disposed at a longitudinal end of the body of the contact and extending beyond the socket; an extention forming an abutment for the contact on the insulating block in the direction of insertion of the contact; and a resilient tongue cooperating with a stopping face of a retention cavity disposed in the socket so as to form an abutment in the direction opposite the direction of insertion of the contact; the resiliently deformable arm being disposed at the other longitudinal end of the body and extending beyond the socket.
