  • Publication number: 20100238345
Abstract: A handle assembly connects to a support assembly of an inertial stabilizer. The handle assembly comprises a handle grip, a multi-axis joint that allows the handle grip to move relative to the support assembly about two or more axes of rotation, and an adjustable friction control that allows a user to adjust or vary an amount of friction that is applied to the axes of rotation. Allowing the user to increase and decrease the amount of friction applied to the axes of rotation in a controlled manner allows the user to effectively isolate the inertial stabilizer from the undesirable effects of user motion.

  • Patent number: 6084395
Abstract: The stackable plastic cover allows a series of covers to be stacked into a column. This is achieved by increasing the sidewall taper to allow the inside of one cover to nest down over the outside of the adjacent cover. Conical projections on the outside of the tapered wall surface provide a stop for the adjacent cover to rest upon and additional conical projections are placed above the stops to prevent scratching of the covers and wall sections.

  • Patent number: 5959243
Abstract: There is disclosed a plastic mating ring for a meter cover and base assembly. The mating ring includes provisions for attaching the meter cover to the mating ring and the mating ring also includes provisions for reducing distortions of the cylindrical wall of the mating ring when the ring is pulled tight against the edge of the meter cover during twisting of the cover onto the meter base.

  • Patent number: 4019572
Abstract: A radiator assembly having several radiator sections connected together by integral flanges which are telescoped together. Each radiator section is constructed of two metal panels which are identical and which are mated together and welded. Corrugated surfaces on each panel define ducts through which the fluid flows. The corrugation ridges on one panel are aligned with the corrugation furrows on its mating panel. The ridges on the panels are also aligned with the furrows on the facing panels of the adjacent radiator sections.
