Publication number: 20240046377Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for updating an agricultural prescription for a geographic region. An example computer-implemented method includes executing an agricultural prescription, via farming equipment, in a geographic region and receiving, during execution of the prescription, sensor data from the farming equipment and operating data representing local operating settings for the farming equipment. Task execution data for the agricultural prescription is generated based on the received sensor data and received operating data for the farming equipment, and compared to expected data for execution of the prescription by the farming equipment.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 18, 2023Publication date: February 8, 2024Inventors: Patrick Lee Dumstorff, A. Corbett S. Kull, Christopher Sears Mikelson, Craig Eugene Rupp

Patent number: 11763400Abstract: A method begins by a computing device allocating a plurality of tasks of an agricultural prescription for a farming geographic area to a fleet of farming equipment. While executing tasks of the plurality of tasks, the method continues with at least some of the fleet of farming equipment collecting task execution data. Based on the task execution data, the method continues with the computing device updating at least one of the agricultural prescription, the plurality of tasks, and the allocation of at least one task of the plurality of tasks.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2020Date of Patent: September 19, 2023Assignee: CLIMATE LLCInventors: Craig Eugene Rupp, A. Publication number: 20200034759Abstract: Systems and methods for generating agronomic yield maps from field health imagery maps are described herein. In an embodiment, an agricultural intelligence computer system receives a field health imagery map for a particular agronomic field. The system additional receives data describing a total harvested mass of a crop on the particular agronomic field. The system computes an average yield for the plurality of locations on the particular agronomic field. Using the field health imagery map, the system generates a spatial distribution of agronomic yield based, at least in part, on the average yield. The system then generates a yield map using the spatial distribution of agronomic yield.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2019Publication date: January 30, 2020Inventors: Patrick Lee Dumstorff, Wayne Tai Lee, Pramithus Khadka, Alex Raymond Kreig, Michael Peter Marlow, Michael Joseph Lyons, Dariusz Andrzej Blasiak, Seth Robert Smoot, Tavis Easton Bones, Kyle Plattner, Gardar Johannesson

Publication number: 20180263171Abstract: A method begins by agriculture equipment collecting current on-site gathered agriculture data regarding an agriculture region and sending at least a representation of the current on-site gathered agriculture data to a host device. The method continues with the host device processing one or more of the at least a representation of the current on-site gathered agriculture data, current off-site gathered agriculture data, historical on-site gathered agriculture data, historical off-site gathered agriculture data, and historical analysis of agriculture predictions regarding the agriculture region to produce a current agriculture prediction for the agriculture region. The method continues with the host device generating an agriculture prescription regarding at least a portion of the agriculture region based on the current agriculture prediction and sending the agriculture prescription to one or more of the agriculture equipment.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 22, 2018Publication date: September 20, 2018Inventors: Craig Eugene Rupp, A.
