Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a gas filtering device that allows to cover and filter gases emanating from liquid and/or solid substances without the use of auxiliary technologies. The gas filtering device comprises an air tight geomembrane that is adapted to cover and seal the surface from which the gas emanations come from, one or more air permeable filtering cartridge pocket(s) embedded within the air tight geomembrane that are adapted to adopt an opened configuration and a closed configuration, and one or more corresponding filtering cartridge(s) that are releasably secured within the air permeable filtering cartridge pocket.

Abstract: Modular Gas And Odor Filtering Device and Method will be described. The Device is configured to float on water of similar liquid surfaces holding a filtering cartridge. The emitted gases from the liquid surface will then initially go through the filter and be imprisoned or degraded. A plurality of modular floating filtering units may additionally be joined together in order to cover a wider surface and allow a more substantial filtration of the emitted gases, thus reducing the odors and/or gas emissions.
