  • Publication number: 20240118916
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, articles of manufacture, and methods are disclosed for deployment of a container in a network-constrained environment. An example apparatus includes interface circuitry, machine readable instructions, and programmable circuitry to at least one of instantiate or execute the machine readable instructions to access a first unencrypted shared file, access a second encrypted file, create a third file by integrating contents of the first file and the second file, the third file being a Virtual Execution Environment (VEE) image, store the third file, and deploy the third file to a container runtime environment for execution.

  • Publication number: 20230159914
Abstract: Single-cell sequencing provides a new level of granularity in studying the heterogeneous nature of cancer cells. For some cancers, this heterogeneity is the result of copy number changes of genes within the cellular genomes. The ability to accurately determine such copy number changes is critical in tracing and understanding tumorigenesis. Current single-cell genome sequencing methodologies infer copy numbers based on statistical approaches followed by rounding decimal numbers to integer values. Such methodologies are sample dependent, have varying calling sensitivities which heavily depend on the sample's ploidy and are sensitive to noise in sequencing data. Described herein are novel methods for reconstructing the genome of a single cell.

  • Publication number: 20050271065
Abstract: The present invention relates to a packet switch and a packet switching method. An example embodiment of the present invention comprises at least three network ports, at least one instrument port, a mux-switch, a packet switch fabric, and an address table. The embodiment updates the address table to include the source address of each ingress packet of each network port and associate the source address with that network port. The mux-switch routes the ingress packet traffic of each network port according to the identity of the network port so that at least a copy of the packet traffic of one of the network ports is routed to an instrument port. The packet switch fabric routes the packets from the instrument ports to the network ports according the destination address of the packet and the identity of the network port that is associated with the destination address as recorded in the address table.

  • Patent number: 6707794
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for analyzing link failure in a network is described, wherein a protocol analyzer captures handshake protocol frames exchanged by two nodes attempting to establish a physical link. The captured handshake protocol frames ordered sets are displayed to the user in a merged, time-ordered list, and the information contained in the frames is decoded and displayed. If an attempt to establish a link fails, the symptoms of the failure and a possible diagnosis are identified and displayed. The user is thereby provided with a complete, understandable picture of the events leading up to the link failure, and with symptoms and possible cause of the link failure.
