  • Publication number: 20210053058
Abstract: An apparatus includes a fluidic coupler including an opening. A first port is in fluid communication with the opening and is to interface with an inlet of a flow cell of a sensor device. A second port is to interface with an outlet of the flow cell of the sensor device. A third port is in fluidic communication with the second port. The apparatus further includes a mechanical assembly moveable between a first position and a second position. The fluidic coupler is secured to the flow cell of the sensor device in the first position. The fluidic coupler is disengaged from the flow cell of the sensor device in the second position.

  • Publication number: 20200290043
Abstract: A fluidic device holder configured to orient a fluidic device. The device holder includes a support structure configured to receive a fluidic device. The support structure includes a base surface that faces in a direction along the Z-axis and is configured to have the fluidic device positioned thereon. The device holder also includes a plurality of reference surfaces facing in respective directions along an XY-plane. The device holder also includes an alignment assembly having an actuator and a movable locator arm that is operatively coupled to the actuator. The locator arm has an engagement end. The actuator moves the locator arm between retracted and biased positions to move the engagement end away from and toward the reference surfaces. The locator arm is configured to hold the fluidic device against the reference surfaces when the locator arm is in the biased position.

  • Publication number: 20180225617
Abstract: A method and system for automating work pattern quantification and providing worker feedback based on quantified metrics is provided. The system may first identify a work pattern to be quantified for a user. Using one more predefined rules associated with the identified work pattern, the system determines at least one task associated with the work pattern. One or more services accessed to perform the associated task(s) are identified and event data from these services is collected, each event including an associated timestamp. The event data is analyzed to generate a focus metric(s). The generated focus metrics may then be used to quantify a work pattern by providing individual or group feedback.

  • Publication number: 20060022988
Abstract: A power cut-off protection control circuit and method. A memory pair and a selecting circuit are provided. The memory pair stores data made available at respective storage inputs of first and second storage elements of the pair and provides the stored data at respective storage outputs thereof. The memory pair has a polarity selecting input through which the output of one of the first and second storage elements is caused to correspond to a first control state of the switch and the output of the other of the first and second storage elements is caused to correspond to a second control state of the switch. The selecting circuit has inputs coupled to the respective storage outputs of the memory pair and an output coupled to a control line of the switch for controlling the switch. A selecting line of the selecting circuit selects between the inputs, for selecting one or the other of the storage outputs of the first and second storage elements.

  • Publication number: 20050148328
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for triggering roaming in a mobile network device are disclosed. A speed of the network device is detected. One or more maximum/minimum trigger values corresponding to one or more trigger events are ascertained at the speed of the network device. One or more trigger counters associated with the one or more trigger events are maintained. Roaming of the network device is triggered when one of the trigger counters associated with one of the trigger events is equal to or exceeds (or is less than or equal to) one of the trigger values corresponding to the trigger event at the speed of the network device.

  • Publication number: 20050143065
Abstract: The present invention communication network system and method facilitates authentication and registration in a communication network as mobile nodes move from one geographical region to another. Multiple wireless domain services (WDSs) share client authentication information permitting relatively seamless roaming between subnets with minimal interruptions and delays. In one embodiment, a wireless domain service network communication method is performed utilizing partial authentication processes. A mobile node engages in an authentication protocol with a first wireless domain service (WDS) access point in a first subnet. The authentication credentials are forwarded to a second wireless domain service in a second subnet if the authentication protocol is successfully completed. The forwarded authentication credentials are utilized to authenticate the client entering the service area of the second wireless domain service in the second subnet.
