    Abstract: An improved arrangement of piston and cylinder assemblies for moving the air slides of fuel burners avoids build-up of combustion products on the piston. The cylinder is movable and the piston is fixed and located away from the burner so the cylinder can move toward and away from the burner on the piston to move the air slide.
