    Abstract: The present invention provides for the safe and easy transport of refuse cans such as standard residential refuse cans. The present invention includes a removably mountable refuse can transport device that is mounted to a vehicle by a hitch engagement such as an insert to a conventional trailer hitch, a vertical support mounted with a base that supports a refuse can and a locking plate that moves vertically to retain a refuse can on the base to allow convenient transport of the refuse can.
