Abstract: Tissue access devices and methods of using the same are disclosed. The devices can have a sensor configured to occlude a flow path by deflecting a membrane into the flow path when the devices become dislodged from tissue. The sensor can be configured to partially or fully occlude the flow path. The sensor can have a spring. The spring can be biased to move the sensor from a sensor first configuration to a sensor second configuration when a force applied by the sensor first surface against a non-sensor surface changes from a first force to a second force less than the first force. The membrane can be deflected into the flow path when the sensor is in the sensor second configuration.

Abstract: Binder compositions for agglomerating iron ore fines are provided, the compositions comprising: one or more types of modified starch and one or more types of synthetic dry polymers. A process for preparing iron ore pellets with the binder compositions is also provided, the process comprising: (i) adding a binder composition to particulate iron ore to form a mixture; and (ii) forming the mixture into pellets.

Abstract: Systems and processes may promote simplified and customized reconciliation of an entire period of time's transactions by a merchant computing system through the use of PSS batching techniques and related reporting. In embodiments, a merchant computing system may be able to reconcile an entire day of sales in a single received line item based on the merchant's single day total for a certain alternate form of payment provider. Embodiments employing the batching and reporting techniques can promote simplification and enhanced processing at a merchant computing system through avoidance of individual reconciliation of alternate forms of payment transactions and by reconciliation over a time-period range set by a merchant or set by an alternate form of payment provider.
