  • Publication number: 20130327103
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of zeolites for supplying plants with micronutrients that can be assimilated, in particular using a composition including a zeolite and a micronutrient. The invention mainly pertains to the field of agriculture, in particular to the prevention or correction of assessed micronutrient deficiencies in plants grown in open fields or through hydroponics.

  • Publication number: 20110288359
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for preparation of a cationic zeolite that is at least partially exchanged with one or more monovalent and/or multivalent cations. The process comprises at least the stages for separate activation of a zeolite that is to be exchanged and an anhydrous salt under a dry, inert gaseous stream, dissolution of the anhydrous salt in an anhydrous organic solvent, ion exchange under dry inert atmosphere, filtering and washing with an anhydrous organic solvent, and calcination in the presence of oxygen and under a dry gaseous stream. The invention also relates to the use of prepared zeolites for the separation or the purification of hydrocarbon feedstocks.

    Filed: May 5, 2009
    Publication date: November 24, 2011
    Applicant: IFP Energies nouvelles
Inventors: Karin Barthelet, Patrick Magnoux, Alain Methivier, Vania Santos-Moreau
  • Publication number: 20110071333
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for neutralization of a cationic zeolite that is at least partially exchanged with one or more monovalent and/or multivalent cations. The neutralization process comprises at least the stages for dissolution of a basic salt in an anhydrous organic solvent, degassing this solution by bubbling a dry inert gas, suspending the zeolite in this solution under dry inert gas, filtering and washing the solid by an anhydrous organic solvent, and calcination in the presence of oxygen and under a dry gaseous stream. The invention also relates to the use of neutralized zeolites for the separation or the purification of hydrocarbon feedstocks.

  • Patent number: 7872166
Abstract: A process for isomerizing a feed comprising at least one aromatic compound containing eight carbon atoms per molecule is carried out in the presence of a catalyst comprising at least one modified zeolite with structure type EUO, at least one binder and at least one metal from group VIII of the periodic table, said catalyst having been prepared using a process which comprises the following in succession: a) a step for treatment of a zeolite with structure type EUO in the presence of at least one molecular compound containing at least one silicon atom, during which said compound, with a diameter greater than the maximum pore opening diameter in said zeolite, is deposited in the gas phase on the outer surface of said zeolite; b) at least one heat treatment step; c) forming said zeolite with a binder; d) at least one step for introducing at least one metal from group VIII of the periodic table onto a support based on said modified and formed zeolite.
