  • Patent number: 9527252
Abstract: A method of making an eyewear frame having substantially rigid sections joined with a soft and/or flexible nose bridge. The substantially rigid sections and soft and/or flexible nose bridge are made in separate molding processes. The cured substantially rigid sections and cured soft and/or flexible nose bridge are then joined together in a further molding process by injecting a bonding material into interfaces between the soft and/or flexible nose bridge and the respective substantially rigid sections. The eyewear frame may be painted. A pre-painting surface treatment may be applied to the soft and/or flexible nose bridge before it is joined with the substantially rigid right and left sections.

  • Patent number: 8827123
Abstract: A dispenser having a container for receiving a volume of food dressing, the dispenser comprising a tube extending between a first end portion having a first opening facing the internal space of the container and a second end portion having a distal end with a second opening facing the atmosphere such that the tube defines a passage between the first and second openings for allowing fluid communication between the internal space of the container and the atmosphere, wherein the tube has a first section extending from the first end portion and a second section ending at the distal end, wherein the passage has a first internal taper along the first section and the second section extends along a curve such that the distal end is generally parallel to the longitudinal axis, and wherein, after pouring, when the dispenser is moved back into an upright position by the user, the food dressing remaining in the passage flows back into the internal space of the container without dripping from the second end portion.

  • Patent number: 8613326
Abstract: A weeding hand tool, comprising a generally longitudinal member joining a handle grip at a first end thereof and a pedal at a second opposite end thereof, a finger head comprising coiled fingers arranged in a helix and an ejector rod mobile inside the helix, and an ejector arm, wherein, when the tool is positioned generally vertically with free end tips of the coiled fingers on the ground, pushing down on the handle grip and/or on the pedal causes the coiled fingers to rotated down into the soil, entrapping a weed beneath the soil as they penetrate the soil, and wherein when, by pulling up on the longitudinal member, the coiled fingers are pulled out from the soil, with the weed entrapped in the helix they form, and the weed is ejected from the helix pulling down on the ejector arm.
