Publication number: 20140113267Abstract: The inventive subject matter provides apparatus, systems and methods for conducting a survey. The method includes the step of providing access to a server that stores information of potential respondents. The information of each potential respondent includes an identifier of a mobile device associated with the potential respondent. The method further includes a step of sending invitations to participate in the survey to a group of target respondents selected from the potential respondents based on retrieved application data from the mobile devices associated with the potential respondents. A system, including data storage and a processor, is also presented. The data storage stores information of potential respondents, including an identifier of a mobile device associated with the potential respondent. The processor retrieves data from the mobile devices and sends invitations to participate in the survey to mobile devices associated with a group of target respondents selected from the potential respondents.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 18, 2013Publication date: April 24, 2014Applicant: M4 StrategiesInventors: Christopher David St. Hilaire, Christopher Patrick Monahan, Jeffrey Joseph Harrelson, Michael Scott Smith

Patent number: 7237413Abstract: A tool and method for installing collapsible inserts. The tool includes a stabilizing handle which is threaded onto a tool body. The tool body is threaded onto a tool shaft. In use, a collapsible insert is threaded onto the tool and the insert is positioned in a hole in a workpiece. An actuating handle of the tool is then rotated, while holding the stabilizing handle, to cause the collapsible insert to collapse, thereby installing the insert relative to the workpiece. Once the insert has been collapsed using the tool, the actuating handle is rotated in the opposite direction, while holding the stabilizing handle, to disengage the tool from the insert. Then, a hanger is threadably inserted into the collapsed insert and a threaded rod is threaded into the hanger. Alternatively, the threaded rod is directly threadably engaged with the collapsed insert, without need for a hanger.Type: GrantFiled: April 25, 2006Date of Patent: July 3, 2007Assignee: Acument Intellectual Properties LLCInventors: Patrick Monahan, Scott Anderson

Publication number: 20060236815Abstract: A fastener installation tool which includes an axial assist mechanism as well as adjustable feet and a simple drive position limiter. The installation tool is connectable to the chuck of a standard drill. During use, the feet are stepped upon, causing the housing to move along the drive shaft, generally toward the fastener, causing the feet to contact the workpiece. Then, the drill is actuated, causing the drive shaft to rotate and the fastener to thread into the workpiece. At some point during fastener installation, further axial motion of the tool stops as the fastener continues to travel axially due to threading action, and reduces its head engagement with the drive socket. As the fastener seats on the workpiece, the drive socket disengages from the head of the fastener.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 25, 2006Publication date: October 26, 2006Inventors: Peter Beecherl, Patrick Monahan, Jonathan Huffman

Patent number: 6158089Abstract: A telescoping handle which is useful for a variety of broom, mop and shovel applications includes a first tubular handle portion having a first end and an inner open surface extending axially inwardly therein from the first end having a predetermined diameter and having at least one aperture surface which extends radially through the first handle portion into communication with the open surface. The telescoping handle includes an annular connector which is fixably disposed on the first end of the first tubular handle portion and includes an inner open surface axially positioned and having a smaller diameter with respect to the open surface of the first tubular portion, wherein the inner open surface of the connector includes at least one guide surface formed therein. A second handle portion is provided which includes an outer extruded surface coating configured in a complementary manner to the inner open surface and guide surface of the connector to be sidably received therethrough.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 1999Date of Patent: December 12, 2000Assignee: Thomas Monahan CompanyInventors: Patrick Monahan, Michael K. Patent number: 5241519Abstract: Hydrophone transducer elements are mechanically isolated from one another vibration by suspending them in a urethane matrix molded into a cylindrical shape. A metal ring is mechanically locked in an annular slot defined by the cylindrical shaped matrix. The ring is used to mechanically support the assembly for towing. The transducer elements are electrically connected to one another and to an electrical cable independently of this mechanical support.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 1992Date of Patent: August 31, 1993Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the NavyInventors: Patrick Monahan, George Battista
